Siddhanth, 09 Oct 2011I don't get the concept of a spare battery. How do you charge the spare battery. Do you remove... moreYou've never seen a separate charger that charges the battery alone? I always buy a separate battery plus a charger on all of the phones that I use. I bought my battery + charger for only $10usd. This eliminates battery issues, I always have a charged battery ready to use. I've had my Xperia mini for only 3 days and so far no issues yet. Keeping my fingers crossed!
i just got it yesterday...after charging for the first time in its first 12 hours i almost hear 2 hours of musics,1 hours of games and browsing...still 50% of the charge left...so should have a very good stand by time hopefully...yes very small lovely smart phone...and mine 1 is white!
Hi guys ........pls tell me whether the phone s very small.......and its look is too tiny.......if it so pls reply me
I am planning to buy xperia mini. However I have two essential needs which seems to be missing in the handset.
1) Use of the camera LED light as a Torch
2) Smart dialling for contacts
I have seen some apps for these purposes in android market. I would like to confirm that they are supported in xperia mini. Anybody using such apps please comment.
Presently I am using symbian, the one feature I am missing is Google maps with VOICE Navigation, which Google has released for Android only. Wisepilot or any such alternatives will not do for me. So anybody using Gmaps with voice navigation in this? Thanks in advance.

But from what I have read, many others have. Also, many people claim that the problem has been fixed by SE after some software calibration done in the service centre. If you plan to use it as a phone, for a little net surfing, gps, occasional gaming, I can assure you that you will not experience any problem regarding heating or whatsoever. I do not know what these people do that causes their phone to behave like that. I would personally suggest that you go for the mini, but if anyone has not got the problem fixed after software calibration, please speak up, and don't use an anonymous name.

avatar123hanks, 30 Nov 2011Guys help me! I'm to buy my first android phone and choices are xperia mini and live with wal... moreI'd suggest you go for the xperia mini. Losing the bravia engine for the walkman tag is not worth it. Both the mini and live with walkman have the same audio chip, so both will give the same sound quality. Also, the difference in thickness (2mm) will hardly be noticible. The bravia engine is what makes the xperia mini's screen pop out, and if you're worried about the music quality, get a good pair of earphones. The mini sounds almost as good as my iPod Touch 2G with my Sennheiser MX-760.
