What's the music playback quality like on this device? I read a review that said it was a bit lacking on the bass?
I'm just interested in using headphones or plugging it in to the car for in-car tunes.
Thanks in advance for any feedback. Cheers :)

The proximity sensor is not involved in the flickering. And it is really very very minor. Most people can't even notice it. Its only there because automatic brightness adjustment is on by default with no option to switch it off. SE will probably fix this in a future software update.

You may also check the sensor from Service Menu - Service test by dialing *#*#7378423#*#*

aniketmishra, 23 Sep 2011@siddhanth...........so still no screen flickering problem for you......The screen flickering is there: It only happens in really bad lighting conditions, or when a shadow lingers over the proximity sensor (for example, if my finger comes over it). The screen becomes slightly dimmer, and then brighter again when the shadow is gone, giving a flickering effect. A minor inconvenience at best, really not a deal-breaker. But no vibrating problems.
@siddhanth...........so still no screen flickering problem for you......

Siddhanth, 23 Sep 2011I doubt there is a better audio chip in the live with walkman. Also, it lacks the bravia engin... moreyeah! i think you were right, but there's a lot of rumors that this mobile got some problems. anyway where ever you go in each forums of gsmareana there's a lot of bad rumors dishing out like this cool mini..
Great little phone, what a speeder, actually it was, then after 2 days of using it, it started to press back and menu keys randomly when it was used or became a bit warmer. Look at SE support forum, this problem is spreaded everywhere in the world... i hope they will fix it, and SE will have the most mean mini phone! :)
