lili, 07 Mar 2013can it be used on normal GSM sim? because i dont have mini simIn fact, 'mini Sim' means the normal Sim card which you mentioned. (the other one is micro Sim)
I think gsm arena should mention 'normal Sim' in specifications along with or instead of 'mini Sim, to avoid confusion

That will depend on your place. Better you go to Sony Mobile Center.

juns, 26 Feb 2013the specs is spectacular. Yes, you true. the specification is very good with affordable. After many thinks I updated to ICS. It's OK the performance is slower than Gingerbread, but the information RAM, used and free is correct.
Back again to Gingerbread 2.3.4 finally is OK. I updated to 4.0.2.A.0.84 via OTA, it worked. Although the information of used RAM and free RAM not as good as in ICS (some MBs are missing). In Gingerbread, my Xperia mini shows used RAM 174 MB and free 145 MB after restart, later the free RAM will be decreased (if added some applications running in background, of course, decrease), but if we total used and free, it won't be 300 MB or more. Different when I watched running applications in ICS, where used RAM and free RAM after restart and later used for some hours, the total RAM in settings is always shows true information (total is about 335 MB).
Well, for faster performance, I still refer to Gingerbread. :-)
