This will show tamil characters anywhere tamil unicode characters available.
backup original DroidSansFallback.ttf before replacing it.

Yes, it was annoying cause it cancelled what we did. I rooted my Xperia mini and installed Gscript, copy the touchpanel.sh to gscript folder and I opened the Gscript app, loadedd the touchpanel.sh then touched it, my Xperia mini was reboot. The result, my Xperia mini works better and I don't face that problem anymore.
I have this xperia MINI Sony for 3 months but after using it for a months I am starting to encounter vibration problem. You cannot do anything with the phone as it keeps on returning back to main screen. It seems to have a ghost touching the screen for you. I am not recommending this product to anyone. I am now disappointed with sony products as most of our stuff are sony brands with a lot of problems...Engineers of Sony....do something...
AnonD-443, 04 Dec 2012Where do you want the mentioned fonts to appear? Web browsing or other apps/phone language?not just in the browser or internet but on the phone or txts..
ICS for me was rather slow, some games not compatible well. So, I downgraded to Gingerbread anymore. For camera I don't know exactly.
I recently upgraded my xperia mini from GB to ICS, and I' am facing a problem with the camera. Though the video quality is still good as was in.GB, the photo quality has become very bad. Neither does the camera pick up adequate lighting from the surroundings, neither does the autofocus work very well, resulting in dull and blurred images. The camera used to work well in GB .
Anyone else.facing the same problem? Any solution for the same? Kindly reply.

dhiraj, 05 Dec 2012How to update android 2.1 to 4.0 .tell me frnds plz .. Thanx in advnceXperia mini runs Android 2.3.4. If you would like to update it to Android 4.0.4, install Sony PC Companion on the PC (download it from Sony Mobile website), then connect your Xperia mini to PC via USB cable. Later, the Sony PC Companion will detect new update. I did this when updated to Android 4.0.4.

After downgraded from ICS 4.1.B.0.857 to Gingerbread 4.0.2.A.0.42 and rooted via flashtool, my Xperia mini got notification on update firmware. I downloaded with wifi com installed it, it shutdown and reboot again then said could not install. I tried again, but downloaded using HSDPA, installed it, reboot, it said could not install too. Because the notification can't be disappear (if I deleted the update center app maybe it can), I used flashtool again, downloaded Gingerbread 4.0.2.A.0.62 ftf file before, then flashed it. The result my Xperia mini now is Gingerbread 0.62 with unrooted (the Superuser app was gone). It's OK for me become unrooted. My Xperia mini works fine.

First, my Xperia mini firmware was 0.42. and rooted, I tried update using OTA, by click from Update Center icon or the notification, downloaded it. When installed, it became shutdown and reboot itself, but when the phone was switch on and already to use, these was a note: "could not install".
So, I downloaded Gingerbread 0.62 ftf file, by using flashtool, I flash it (with wipe user data unchecklist), the result, worked fine. My Xperia mini is in firmware 0.62 now, but it becomes unrooted.
Nikidroid, 02 Dec 2012I'd had updated my smartphone firmware to 0.62 today. It becomes unrooted anymore.I had update several time from .42 to .62. It never loss root. But I had done update through ota (through phone). Only when done major updates (such as GB to ICS) it become unroot because when flashing, flashtool or pcc wiping system partition so root files (su in system/xbin and superuser.apk in system/app) will vanished. Maybe u done update through pc. I never done .42 to .62 in pc so I cant say much about that.
