Azhar, 06 Jul 2012I update to ICS 4.0.4 i am enjoying it thank you Sony...Hi
Pls would you let me know how did you updrage the software Android V4 on this phone? Thanks v much.
when i buy xperia mini, need to calibrate it after a week bec it always freeze and lock, it was good after 5 months, then need to calibrate again... recently i upgraded it using my computer to 4.1.B.0431, it looks good/faster and apps seems to be new but one thing i noticed screen capture apps is gone... i tried to download in play store but no available for xperia... any one knows how to bring it back?
I tried ICS on my xperia mini. More beautiful and handy UI, some new features... BUT camera lags, some apps crash, wifi get crazy sometimes and shorter battery life. ICS on xperia mini has a lot of potential but they need to fix these bugs first. Now I'll just stick to Gingerbread.

gellato, 05 Jul 2012my phone is not functioning well. from the start i bought it up to now!T_T I think it has pr... moreI am sorry to hear that. I was encountered problem too for the first time I bought then I brought my phone back next day to the same shop that I bought. Luckily they would like to receive my phone after check the problem themselves and changed it with new one. For your phone it might be software problem or the phone problem (hardware) itself.
mucool, 05 Jul 2012hey frndzzzzz i want to buy this so need ur suggestions......... plz tell me m i doing ryt??????????Of course. This Android phone is very good. It's small but good in features. if you don't face any problem on this phone, you don't need to upgrade it to Android 4.0, except you would like to try something new.
Don't buy this phone, guys! I'm having it for months and I really regret buying this phone. I always have the problem since the first day I bought it. Battery life sucks, phone always freezes, etc.
This phone is really cool. Its small but packed with dazzling features. I upgraded mine to ICS a couple of days ago and it was good. No lags, no adverse effects etc. although battery life seemed to decline a bit, but after doing some tweaks with the settings everything worked perfectly fine. Also about the back button issue + overheating stuff, it never happened. Try updating to ICS if you do encounter such an issue. I bought mine for Php 6,390 kinda cheap for a phone like this. =) ciao!
AnonD-61783, 05 Jul 2012My phone is functioning well with 2.3.4 android. If it's not broken? Don't fix it. Yeah, I agree with you. My Sony Ericsson Xperia mini is Android 2.3.4, I don't upgrade it cause I don't face any problem on it.
I strongly recommend not to install Android ICS, I did it and battery life rapidly decreased to ca. 4 days (compared to 10 before), phone freezes when recieving calls, and many more disadvantages
