First of all let me tell all XMP lovers that all Xperia Mini Pro(s) dont have the chirping sound on video recording (Let shortform be CSVR) problem, ya but most of them do have. So there is a good news for all those who are wanting to buy the phone but are worried abt the CSVR problem and the wud be bad news who have already bought it and there piece is more than 7 days old now. To clearify dis problem, i rang up SE India, so they told me that after u have bought XMP and are having any problems be it the CSVR problem, ur set wud be replaced with a new one with in 7 days of purchase as many times there is any problem. Thus, im buying dis cute beast and hope to get a one with no CSVR problem.

svidd, 24 Aug 2011I got my hands on an SK17a. Some initial comments, hopefully I can post more later:
1)For ... moreHey please record a video in a silent environment and let us know if the noise exist or not while playing that recorded video..
If not SK17a might be noise-free unlike SK17i!
Is there anyone who has a SK17a and still has the noise issue?
chebchob, 21 Aug 2011Thanks to all good review with no bias. Just wanna ask something which do you prefer to me to ... moreBuy black edition because white edition will be dirty very easily and you need to clean it every moment.
In hardware concerns , what is better ? Xperia Mini or Xperia mini pro?
kls, 24 Aug 2011does anyone know the difference between the mini pro SK17a and the mini pro SK17i??More specifically, both SK17a and SK17i are quad-band GSM. The difference is in the 3G data bands. SK17a has 850/1900/2100. SK17i has 900/2100.
The 850/1900 will work on AT&T in the US, but not T-Mobile (the phone will still work on T-Mobile, just not the data). Because both phones have 2100, they will both work in a large number of countries: http://www.freegsmplus.com/gsm-coverage/
