hmm one cool feature of ics is that it supports being able to shoot pictures and record videos at the same time,
since xperia mini pro is the same in spec as the htc one V(which has ics and is able to shoot pictures and record videos at the same time)
will S.E. implement it on the ics of mini pro?

i used blackberry and nokia and samsung and htc and sony ericsson.9300 and n8 and s11 and cha cha and x10 and mini pro.mini pro never let me dowen when all of my x devices let me except x10.se is making real devices with reasonable prices aND highest quality with it's price

well it's not that xperia play couldnt handle ICS
as ICS is actually available to a phone similar to xperia x8's specs the "S21 Tapioca" albeit overclocked to 800 mhz...still a far cry to the one used by xperia play and xperia mini/pro's snapdragon generation 2 chipset...
sony just decided that they wouldnt put ics on the play officially...maybe because of poor sales? well only they know...
xperia mini pro has the same exact specs as any of its big brothers...play, ray and arc included
in performance it has a considerable lead in speed compared to play arc and ray due to it's hvga resolution
so if there is a phone that can handle ics in the sony lineup of phones in 2011....it should be xperia mini/pro alongside its higher priced brothers such as ray and arc

why is it when u take some photos they dont show or they show sthing like the sign of a battery???and how do u save downloaded music on the phone without using the pc??

From the 2gb capacity I only have 700mb usable space and I read some specs and it was indicated there that only 700mb free space for the 2gb. But I tried to scan some items using file manager and I found out that some pre-installed datas are the following.
-Promotional video(which means its a large file) of xmp in english
-and I was surprised because there are other promotional videos of xmp in different languages and if I am not mistaken a total of 6-9 same videos but varies in the language being used that's why I deleted all except the one in english. Hehe.
- bunch mp3s wherein in different languages again. And again I deleted about 2 languages.

I have a new problem, I am using gingerbread and so far I have no problem with it but I was just conscious to see the 'drama' of using/upgrading to ics. And now se sends me update on my system, will I update it or not? For better decision making, whats the difference of these 2 os aside from their taste(-hehe, I was just conscious again by the names they're using but ics seems delicious and hopefully it will compliment with my taste buds. Hehe.)

I found this and my handset... moreYes, switching from GSM/3G to GSM could increase the battery life, but if you're in 3G coverage area it's more easy if you keep switching to hybrid connections, just disable data traffic if you're not using internet connection, then the phone will automatically working on GSM only eventhough phone status says otherwise.

Is there any other way to upda... moreif its no hassle to you then you could try a factory reset. i reset mine and im pretty sure straight after that i noticed there were slight changes to the UI. Specifically that i now have the option to update to ics via wifi (without a laptop/pc). I know this sounds like bs but when i click on the link thats on my phone..."new sytem update available" (ics) that has been flashing on my phone since i bought it, then it has a download button and a little box that is ticked saying download via wifi only wifi. I havent bothered updating as im not in wifi areas that often, and the phone works fine. Maybe i am confused.....but im sure it changed to now being FOTA (firmware over the air)

One of the best middle range phones out there in the market. Believe me when I say the best.. I have been using a lot of phones but nothing gave me such satisfaction., be it the specs, the looks of the phone.. the sony ericsson xperia mini pro is a little devil I would say when compared to many 2012 model phones :)
