M.G, 04 Jul 2012Well actually after hearing this camera problem in xperia u, it became tough for me to choose ... moreFor better battery backup, good Hd camera and Super speaker sound, go for Neo V or just wait for 1 to 3 months. Sony launching new models, but Not sure about the cost.
Also, Google and others like, ASUS, launching new smart phones and tablet which have 8 to 32 GB inbuilt memory with lowest price almost for 12,000 RS.
Guys, after using ICS 4.0.3 and 4.0.4 for one month each. I've downgraded my neo v back to the ever stable Gingerbread 2.3.4. I flashed my neo v. I took help from the Sony support forum. I was on gingerbread for almost 4 n half months. I never had a single problem with gb.
ICS is really cool and awesome with great features but it makes my neo v to lag n stutter during music playback and while playing games. Clearly a 512 ram is insufficient to run ICS. It must have at least have a ram of 1GB or have a dual core. The slow loading of dial pad, missing LED notifications and occasional phone reboots. ICS caused my neo v to suffer. but I really enjoyed ICS as it had some cool features that gb didn't have. I did factory reset, repair etc.
I will post a complete review of ics n gb on neo v in my blog. I will share it across soon
Ray and neo v are both same with some slight differences in features.ray excels in camera with 8 mp exmor sensor, excellent display with high pixel count. And with excellent built quality. Neo has a biger screen and has hdmi port . If camera, built quality and size is your concern go for ray. If you want a biger screen with hdmi port buy neo v
Harsha, 03 Jul 2012Could someone plz clarify my doubt. How to access wi-fi hotspot in Neo v..? go to settings, then click wifi and scan for the network available
Running ICS. 4.0.3 smoothly on Neo V. Start up shows Sony Xperia now, not Sony Ericsson. It starts up faster than GB and responds nicely to touch.
ICS interface is prompt minimalist and settings has developer options. Apart from a 3 second lag when calling up phone, there is no problems with my ICS.
I gained 420mb of internal storage. I did not root or back up my apps. I just used PC Companion to upgrade on a really fast internet connection. You must load support on PCC to facilitate upgrade.
All apps and games still run on ICS. My camera interface is now better than on GB. WiFi and Bluetooth is easier to operate.
Will post more in time. Stay tuned.

M.G, 04 Jul 2012Friends!
I m Messed up with confusion!!
Which phone should I go for?
Sony Xperia U OR Neo V... moreXperia U does Not support external memory card, but it has 4 GB inbuilt memory.
Neo v support external memory and can b increased to 32 GB.
If you do not need more memory go for X-peria U, because it has "dual core CPU".
If you need Good HD recording, go neo V it has video stabilization, which does not have in X-U.
Since X-peria U has dual core, upcoming android versions will works properly on it.
I have Neo V and upgraded to Android 4 now it is bit slow. Planned to downgrade to Ginger Bird.
You can compare them at http://www.gsmarena.com/compare.php3?idPhone1=4122&idPhone2=4437 .
