Why are all the phone manufacturers still making an 802.11n wifi support when there is like 4% of n access points in the world...N access points are going to be useful in the future not now when everyone uses a g access point.

And no, it can't sell at the PSP price. Even though it advertise as a gaming devise, under the hood it is a full-function Android smart phone with the latest Snappdragon and 205 GPU and the latest OS. That alone will cost more than PSP.
the xperia play sounds and looks good. but is that as good as sony say it is? the X10 was the best sony under the xperia range. this is the first time a game phone was created. so sofar there are no common problems. just hope its price range is not way more than the PSP... thinking of taking the risk to get myself one. good luck
gaming with the adreno 205gpu. is this a joke. one would at least expect the power Vr540. all a marketing gimmick
if ure not a real gamer, whose playing games only on free time, dont buy this phone. go home n play ur grandma's atari
i think the 400mb is like a cache/page memory or similar like ready boost which is dedicated for games
New video for the xperia play!
this is not a phone, this is PSP that can make call.
If you want a phone go get Sony Ericsson T100 instead.
this phone seems like has many weak points,do u know about it.think urself.many, many things have 2 correct in tis phone.i suggest tat se can cr8 a psp play 2 which can play hd games,i dun like those low graphics games,i like hd,oh se
abhi, 18 Feb 2011Don't worry , total RAM in Xperia play is 512 mb.

So I guess it is possible that this phone has ROM 1GB whereas 400 MB is accessible for user and 512 MB RAM whereas max available on standby is 380 MB (another option is total RAM 386 MB like X10 has)

400 mb is the internal memory of Xperia play.
Have u ever seen any device with unusual amount of ram...? Ram is always in multiples like 64mb > 128mb > 256mb > 512mb > 1024mb(1gb) & so on...
Internal memory is something else.
I can give u some examples-
Samsung galaxy s has 512 mb ram but when gsmarena reviewed it they found out 368mb to be user available.
Internal memory of x8 is listed as 128 mb but ram of x8 is 256mb.
In same way internal memory of nokia C5 is 50mb while ram is 128mb.
Internal memory never represents RAM of a phone.
The new samsung galaxy s II has 16gb internal memory but that doesn't mean that is has 16 gb ram but ram in galaxy s II is 1024mb(1 gb).
So... stop worrying, ram is 512 mb.
Anonymous, 18 Feb 2011Ya i know its ram not storage, but still currently all the smartphones have atleast 512 mb of... moreEarlier, the phone internal memory was very important because you can't install apps to the SD card, after the 2.2 version, apps can be installed to SD, so it's a bit pointless to have so much RAM and make the phone too expensive, because high speed NAND flash memory is always at it's premium price...
AnonD-418, 17 Feb 2011I think it should be enough, it's the RAM not your storage...Ya i know its ram not storage,
but still currently all the smartphones have atleast 512 mb of ram and also i saw a phone with 1gb of ram.
So this is what is making me a bit confused.
Guys... now it's almost official that we will see a LTE flagship phone from SE pretty soon.
The recently announced phones by SE like Arc, neo, pro & play aren't flagship devices from any side, so this forthcoming new LTE device could easily be a dual core powerhouse.
Morover SE is also considering Android tablets.
