i would just like the SE ppl to also integrate swype into Xperia Play then this will make the best contender in market :D
I was initially going to go for samsung wave ... but since the time SE had announced their playstation phone... i put my purchase in hold for past 4 months...
and here i am with better decision taken... my next mobile to be in hand :D
Sony NGP/PSP2 will be the last great gaming handheld for our time before cell phones and tablets start to take over. Nobody wants to buy $40 casual games and rehashes anymore and don't want an extra device to carry around. By the time Nintendo wants to get into the phone market, Apple and Sony is already dominating thanks to the App Store and the PlayStation Suite framework. NGP = last great gaming handheld. XPERIA PLAY/PS Suite = start of a cell phone gaming revolution. NGP and XPERIA PLAY represents the beginning of the end at Nintendo's portable gaming dominance.
I love the spec of this phone...and am eager to buy this when it launches....by the way did sony ericsson gave the launch price of this phone (without contract)?
Also just one thing is bothering me: will 400mb ram be enough?
this chipse MSM8x55 is capable of supporting of 1.4GHz even though it says 1GHz which is not updated yet.
So lovers and haters bear in mind this phone is 1.4GHz and not 1GHz.
NVIDIA has basically announced a roadmap that has made every unreleased phone, tablet, and gaming handheld of this year seem ancient. Who cares about dual-core now when we will go quad by Aug? Who cares about Kal-El when Stark will be like 70X more powerful in three years? Insane. LG OPTIMUS 3D has already made 3DS look old. Just wait when LG makes a PlayStation Certified phone and adds a slide-out gaming pad to match the XPERIA PLAY. Dedicated gaming handhelds will be obsolete in three years.
