This is phone has nothing related to PSP. This is a playstation certified phone, look up the difference, it -could- run psp games through an emulattion, but chances are it is not powerful enough. It is made for psx games not psp, also if you wanted 8mp buy the arc, not the gaming phone. you got this for the controller not to moan about 3mp lol plus you will only see 3mp more if you stretch the image, SE have good lenses in this phone, cam quality is already great.
One major downside to the slide out controls is that they can't be used to input text l like the PSP
I Want to buy this phone but i am slightly confused about its performance regarding gaming, multimedia enjoy, camera and severl other things...will it be worth to buy this phone..or i should go for some other phones like in samsung,Htc ..please guide me..or i should go for xperia arc..which one is also better i think so...please reply.
does anyone have a problem regarding the phone's slider? I mean, I've read something about the phone clicking when texting in its "unslided" mode. and the gap between the screen and the keypad is bigger when used for sometime? please answer
might be a good hint! a white one is actually cheaper!! thereis only one difference and that has to do with its radio :)
Has it thetering? Can I use the 3G in our laptop as iphone can do? Tks
ovi, 17 Dec 2011do psp games will be played in this? No. This is not a PSP and can not play PSP games. You can, however, install an emulator for PS1, GBA, SNES, N64 and various other consoles and play their wide range of roms.
With Onlive, you can now also play modern console games.
ovi, 17 Dec 2011do psp games will be played in this? no it does not support PSP games, and I don't recommend it because you need only the newest games possible, otherwise most "PSP keys" don't work
it's good,easy to use and save my ps3 money.can't believe I spend €160 for that.man its crazy.but came with a 8gb card :( so far ,good .
while downloading software to my xperia play from wifi net ofsudden screen display disappeared..so wt to do nw..?
@ovi : PSP games can be played using Emulators or if SE themselves provide the ported version of their PSP games.
ovi, 17 Dec 2011do psp games will be played in this? no, but imho android games are getting nicer
Nathan, 15 Dec 2011They need to upgrade the camera to at least 8 megapixels before I am in.nathan they have a really high quality 5 mega pixel the clarity is very good.using this phone since the past 6 months.
I have the xperia play 3g and it will not support fluid video chatting without a wifi connection. I use skype and tango for vid chats and both work great, but only with wifi.
Anonymous, 15 Dec 2011I would like to ask a couple of questions: > Will pre-installed games still be "the... moreI updated mine some time after I bought it and I had the same concern; even though I decided to update, all my info remained unchanged and there was little I had to recustomize...
I would like to ask a couple of questions:
> Will pre-installed games still be "there" in our phone, after installing a new OS, namely, ICS (Android 4.0)?
Won't that wipe all the phone's content?
> Does this phone now allow voice call over 3g?
Latest firmware descriptions seem to point in that direction, but I would like to hear it from an unbiased user.
If not, are there any plas to allow 3G video calling in Androd 4 (ICS)?
