I heard that this phone can not call there right ..? because i have started impressed with this phone?
Sony Ericsson has said the Xperia Play will run on what they call "The Z Engine", which is supposed to be the BRAVIA (From the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc) adapted for gaming. The 1 Ghz Processor may be single core, but this phone is equipped with dual bus technology, meant to manage tasks about as fast as a dual-core phone. I haven't read all comments but I bet iPhans are crying here saying how this sucks, but just so you know, the iPhone has the same processing power as this phone, BUT NO ADRENO 205.
[deleted post]I have fewer phone than you but I have to say your are totally right on that.
great phones and arc is only marginally slower than a samsung and far better in everything else
I haven't got one, but I desperately want one. This is the first real gaming phone, and thank god it doesn't solely rely on touchscreen like Apple.
o00scorpion00o, 28 Apr 2011I have to admit I really like this phone.
It's fairly heavy, you notice it in your pocket ... moreOkay in response to my review.
I gave this phone back before it was too late.
battery life bad, half a day with moderate use.
Touch controls on game pad complete crap! major annoyance.
Video camera complete crap, sound off sync.
I am disappointed with the phone, I'm glad I won't have it for 2 years and I'm actually happy with my old spica again for now!
Xperia Play, 03 May 2011When this phone it will be 300$ ? Sorry for my bad englishlol !
What can I say in this phone is it was really great but the one thing that I really dont like is the slide. Why dont a sony ericson make bar type with a touch button key so it will not visible and appear more a phone and not a psp.
Xperia Play, 03 May 2011When this phone it will be 300$ ? Sorry for my bad englishwait for 2 years.. i will give u mine for that rate..

i'm crying here, begging for sony to produce the next Sony Ericsson XPERIA PLAY
odds are by the time the price of this phone drops to $300 US range - the successor will come out with a qualcomm dual core processor and a gig of RAM.. making this phone look like crap.. its still a cool phone though
really good stuff.i use this phone in skype.this is anroid os.very very good in playstation.ps,ps2,ps3 all in one phone.but battery is down soon...
i love this phone, great gaming, great camera, great internet & basicaly great everything i can fault one thing AMAZING!
The device that has been itrodused by sony ericsson, simply tremendus
what a comment on the phone in that case people will be more excited in getting thier hands on this baby .. and still waiting for the successor hahahahhaah
I have to admit I really like this phone.
It's fairly heavy, you notice it in your pocket and I would not like to drop it that's for sure!
The gaming graphics are good and much better than psp 1, the camera is good, the video sound seems to be off sync, it's fast enough and coming from an iPhone 3g it's like lightning! The screen is hard enough to see in bright sunlight but, most phones are the same I suppose!
The phone is a jack of all trades and a master of none, but the ability to play games with the controls is pretty cool in my opinion.
The gaming touch pads are strange and I don't like them, but it might just be a matter of getting used to them, and my thumbs are big.
I'm 31 and my Girlfriend thinks I'm a big kid when I take it out for a game, ( yet she plays angry birds on her phone lol) but I don't care it passes the time when I'm bored. :-)
I was nervous coming from Apples OS, but Android 2.3 is good enough for me, still some apps missing, but that will improve!
Over all I am happy with the phone and I would want to be since I got it on a 2 year contract, and that was really to stop me buying a new phone every year!!!
