Pirkez, 20 Dec 2011You have option in camera red eye, turn on it, and no effect of red eye.not really useful though
filuser, 20 Dec 2011Samsung Galaxy family phones have this featureOnly because Samsung added it - it isn't part of Android.
Personally I think IP-based video is superior to UMTS video calling anyway.
Anonymous, 20 Dec 2011yes, Google did not include that feature in Android.Samsung Galaxy family phones have this feature

th3D, 20 Dec 2011hey man, i have them both. Desire Z is superior for watching videos, much better display and s... moreI have used both too and would go for the Xperia Pro.
The Desire Z has a slower processor, and I disagree about the HTC's "Z-hinge" - the slider on the Pro feels more solid to me. The Pro has a better camera, and the software on Pro is better too IMO.
The screen of the Desire Z may show deep blacks, but the Pro has a very bright and clear screen.
I also prefer the ergonomics of the Pro, though don't like the fingerprint-prone surface.

You should post at http://talk.sonyericsson.com as here is not a good place for support.
im new to android thingy. before i bought my XPERIA Pro, i use nokia e63 for 2years. i just want to know, is it common that the android phone cant make a video call without using skype or any software?

low light pictures comes really clear , one problem though that really bugs me is how much red eyes you will see when using the led flash :\
i have a problem. the back of my phone heats up fast. and after playing games or takes pictures it crashes and restarts. but after that the phone will be normal again
lolz, 19 Dec 2011nope its not a xenon flash , just a normal LED .so... can Exmor really helps when shooting in a dark room though? i mean in a dark room with no light at all.
i actually missed a xenon flash instead of LED flash.
Guitar player, 18 Dec 2011Hello, can someone please tell me should i buy this phone or HTC desire Z?hey man, i have them both. Desire Z is superior for watching videos, much better display and supports more video formats in hardware decoding. Excellent viewing angles, good battery life, and the Z-hinge is superior to any sliding keyboard mechanism. Disadvantage of teh HTC Desire Z is same as other HTC models; unstable and lagging, some of it is typical android flaws but HTC has additional flaws and lags more than any other brand because of HTC Sense.
Xperia Pro has an inferior display but far less lag and it doesnt hang, surely more reliable than any HTC. The keyboard is far better as well, and the cam also has some advantages over HTC. So if display isnt the most important for you then you should absolutely get Xperia Pro. The cheap plastic build is not bad and it is no doubt the plastic gives better signal quality in remote areas than the HTCs "EM-Shield" metal construction.

We know you dont have any problems at all with your phone, yours is perfect. I wonder if you even have one of these or if you are a fanboy with an old SE T300 who comes here to troll.
Now about the heat, i dont find it to be that hot, try to use an SGS for an hour with the charger plugged in and then you will know how hot is a overheated phone. And still they survive.
HOw hot is too hot? Even only 60 degrees celsius is so hot that it will burn your skin, u cant touch it for much more than a second. and 60 celsius is still cold for a silicone chip. SO dont worry, your fones are not carbon based lifeforms, an internal heat of 100+ celsius (hotter than boiling water) will not damage anything.
Anonymous, 20 Dec 2011You can use any standard OMTP headset. Samsung doesn't use the OMTP standard. You can also use any 3.5mm earphones without a microphone.
vant78, 17 Dec 2011ok...ok... i have one more question. LED flash on this phone is flash light or umm...xenon flash?nope its not a xenon flash , just a normal LED .
Hi, is it Not possible to use a different brand of headset in these set of phones.. When I try using a samsung headphones it says "Device Not Supported". I think its useless that they made it a 3.5mm jack if you can only use Sony Ericsson Headphones in it.. Not to mention I really dont like the In-Ear headphones and would prefer the old type.. Is there a workaround for this issue??
