Interesting Read. Number 6 is Sony Ericsson.
nurav, 22 Jun 2011hve a looks at this guyzzz.
http://www.soyacincau.com/2011/06/22/sony-ericsson-reveals-3-ne... moreBy the looks of the live shots of Xperia Ray, seems the display has a yellowish tint. Hope it's just the overhead light and/or background color affecting the colors of the display.
Yellowish screen was the main reason why I ditched my SE C901. :-(
whatahell?? another Neo/Arc design?
what SE is trying to do? the only different is the screen.. wtf..??
they really should make
Arc is 12mp camera with 768mb/1Gb ram
Neo is 8mb camera
Ray is 5mb camera
why all need to be the same specs???
what a waste SE had done. all of them is confirmed to be less popular due to performance i.e outdated single core.. and outdated GPU.
I guess it won't be long before I bid goodbye to my Samsung Wave. :-)
I'll be missing Wave's S-AMOLED and Gorilla glass display though.
Hope the price will be reasonable (affordable, to be more accurate, haha), and the scratch-resistant mineral glass will be as good as advertised.
compared to SE Neo, SE Ray seems like it can`t do video call.. not to mention the screen is smaller than Neo.. More importantly, why this model also have small internal memory.. well, for android, it should have larger memory though... :)
Front vga camera, higer res screen, less volume and thinner than the up coming xperia mini - sold. It could do with some Sharapova love like the active though.
i am a huge fan of SE, but i don't know why they still don't have a good internal memory, it is very important for android
at last!!! this is the phone i've been waiting for. screen size is perfect for me and it's so slim!!! =) this is a sure buy
Anonymous, 22 Jun 2011Who the heck previously code-named it 'Urushi'? =P
Anyway, this is a relatively good phone... moreThe word “Urushi” means Japanese lacquer in Japanese which is a viscous liquid that exudes from under the bark of the lacquer tree. And this lacquer has been utilized on artistically crafted items since early time in Japan.

Anyway, this is a relatively good phone considering its size. Obviously it isn't the best (no dual-core, etc.) but it is a nice phone.
Will I get it? Most likely not. I was thinking about getting the Samsung Galaxy S II because you can't lie, that phone has it all. However, with the rumours surfacing that there is a possible dual-core Sony Ericsson phone (the Xperia Duo) I might wait this one out. I hope that it is true, and that it will be able to match Samsung because Sony Ericsson still does not have a phone with dual-core. Even though a dual-core may not show much difference, in this day and age, it should be a requirement for all new smartphones. I just hope that it will be announced soon and be released soon because if they keep going at this rate, we will be seeing their first dual-core phone when other major brands release phones with even better technology.
I really like their designs and that's why I get disappointed.
both ray and active has a internal gsm modem.now we can connect to internet using phone in desktop.
