hey.... has the phone been discontinued in India...?? i went to one store.. n they told me that they have removed it from their phone line-up..... ne idea ne one...? the store guy also told me that the phone is not even there in the market..!! is there a new one on the way..?? ne clue... if so then, when?

The fone is exelent, sound it better than walkman fone and also has a 3.5mm jack and image quality is some of the best

xperia is also a nice phone. better that htc touch diamond 1. but 5800 sucks.

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970Couldn't have said it any better myself! This phone is a piece of art and it delivers what it promises! I can't believe how easily people make up lies and believe them. The phone is almost perfect for anyone who knows their way around Windows Mobile, which is a great Operating system by the way, and knows what they are doing. Stop spreading lies and most of all stop believing them.

I did not enjoy my X1 - whilst it was in my posession. I lost it at an amusement park on a very fast ride. I'm greatful to its new owner for forcing me to buy a new phone. I would describe the X1 as one of those dreams that was about to be fantastic!...and then someone(?) wakes you up. The keyboard looked sweet but functioned bitter. My memory serves me better than its camera, and the words to describe some good in it, evade me at the moment. I was pleased in not knowing when it removed itself from my possession, like one leaving before dawn, was yours, no good byes, just vague memories, of an: Almost, intoxicating experience.

its soo funny how people can bash the x1, curious persons should visit the xperia forum over at the xda-developers community to see what the x1 and their owners are really saying about this piece of device.
currently i own the black x1 and i am selling it on friday, then on monday, i will be purchasing the silver xperia x1, so far i have not seen or tested any other phones that i will replace my x1 with, only the iphone in my opinion can come close to the x1 or any of htc new wm devices.
the x1 in your hand is nothing compared to pics or videos online, once you pick it up, you dont want to put it back down, not exaggerating here, its a fact.
i think people need to stop bashing a phone bcos its out of their price range, im sure if the bashers were to get one for free they would never bash.
about this supposed to be leaked of the x2, god i hope this is not the x2, bcos this is one ugly mofo for a phone

X1 owners will be pleased to lean that a new firmware update is available for their handset. The new firmware promises various performance boosts with the main thrust being responsivness, which the update is apparently going to improve. We also see some improvements to other areas of the handset like the keyboard backlight, which will see its brightness increased. Reception is also improved and the handset's messaging capability is given some treatment too. Good news all round for X1 owners!

Had the X1 phone for a month now, previous phone was a Nokia N73 (used Nokia for 16 years) so the X1 took some getting used to. I’m impressed with the telephone software, it is easy to look up and phone contacts, and also to look at dialled, missed and received calls, the Windows mobile is also good. General operation is smooth and responsive, the keyboard is very handy, and the display is crisp and clear which makes the phone a pleasure to use. The WIFI & GPS also works very well, I installed the GARMIN mobile software which transforms the phone to a satellite navigation device, very nice phone!

Gps - It doesnt have no gps, you have to buy it
All Round - Only worth it if you want somthing purelly for business.

Can we download Real Player application in XPERIA X1? Downloaded video clip from YouTube on PC is supported by Real Playe, or any equivalent player.
