Greatest fone I've ever had. X1 has rendered my laptop useless. Thank you SE for this great piece. Everyone go grap it!!!
Bought it last month. Its really very stylish and attractive. But am not at all happy with the media player. The sound quality is very low to hear even on using the headphone.I basically bought it so that i can enjoy music pleasure. But unfortunately am disappointed. Otherwise the phone has all the advanced features that we need today.
great phone ,got garmin xt loaded on pnone works nice but the voice guidance dont work.help needed
Had this since lauch. The only bad thing is the Camera. It's a joke. You have to hold it completely still for about 30 seconds to take a decent picture. Other than that it's amazing! Best phone I've had!
Emma, 28 May 2009i have blackbery curve 8900. is XPERIA better than it? Firs BlackBerry OS is the best OS in the world according to the security. But XPERIA uses windows mobile which gives more options to the phone. I have BlackBerry Bold and Xperia X1 they are very good phones but you must to know for what you will use your phone.
I confused choose Nokia E75 or Sony Xperia.. The features rarely same....

Like every other phone it has its technical difficulties every once in a while but this phone especially with Microsoft voice command 6.1 is amazing! Whoever was resorting to the user wanna be blackberry 9000 and wanna be q9h Nokia E71...go research some phones. And how does this turn you off from touch screens? And turn you to nokia...honestly what?
I cant say anymore bout it...the xperia is truly an amazing phone...from contacts to apps to panels to how easy it is to use...and the stylus...you hardly EVER have to use it cause while the phone is open exposing the sexiest qwerty keyboard ever u can get to everything you need, got your own button for start menu...and your scroll and when you do need to touch the screen touch it with your finger...duh! Its seriously an amazing phone...
I got this phone in january and about a month later the kewboard went crazy on me. If i pressed one button for example the M button, i would get three or four M's on the screen.
the phone lags too much. And it isn't quite as user friendly as i thought, i have to use the stylus all the time and it becomes annoying especially when i want to do something quickly.
I'm returning it and trading it in for a Nokia E71. This phone has put me off touchscreen completely.
The only probs wth da mob is scrathes under it other than dat if u tweak dis thang its AMAZING!!!
If u dnt tweak its kinda boring but aftr tweaking no.1!!
Emma, 28 May 2009i have blackbery curve 8900. is XPERIA better than it? Blackberry curve 8900 is a great phone so is Xperia X1... it will be upon ur likings and needs... Note that perhaps in the new firmware Xperia will support Blackberry Connect....
Confused, 25 May 2009I really need some useful advice with this phone. I am thinking about taking the mentioned han... morehey, i suggest you try joining xda-developers.com.
its a community that develops stuff for alot of xdas. esp. on xperia. ^^
"it takes to use one to speak about one."
for those haters of the xperia, back off. youre prolly one of those "user-friendly" user phones. you dont even own an xperia in the first place.
xperia is a well rounded device that you actually tweak from every single bit. the purpose why sony ericsson sold their x1s at its minimal software applications because they know that people could do alot of tweaking from the moment its on its users hand. from tweaking its start up menus, to adding cool applications, mods, cooking and the like. whats more interesting is that you get to personalize it to the max via the panels.
so i suggest, buy the phone first, use it for a month, then talk about its efficiency after you have totally experienced every single thing that it can offer.
if youre satisfied, the better. but if not, then its really up to you on what to do. choosing a phone is subjective anyways. so keep it cool and watch what you say. ^^
My friend use to had sony ericsson xperia before but she only use it for 1 month n didn't use it anymore
