Anonymous, 24 Mar 2009I agree. 5800 is more reliable. the 5800 more reliable - dont me me laff .. i work in a faults dept and spoke to an engineer a few weeks back who told me that the 5800 is the new main faulty handset on the network ... why because its nokias 1st touchscreen handset ... what happened when SE released the K850i (1st sony touchscreen) it caused mayhem ... nearly EVERY customer had problems with the software and thousands were unrepairable. i wouldnt go near the 5800 at all tbh not for at least a few months. in fact the only sony ericsson id go for these days is the x1 ... because it runs on winmo
just about to upgrade my fone not sure which fone to get, so far its between the x1 and the 5800
what do you guyz think??
is it true that x1 have a build quality issue such as crack on the back & between stylus hole. i read from xda developer or try googling "crack x1 xperia"
Anonymous, 22 Mar 2009I agree.

It has a 3.5mm headphone jack, a screen resolution of 800x480, more just under 400mb gross ram, a 528mhz processor, and the list goes on... Just read the specs...
Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970Judging by your post, you don't seem like the type to appreciate windows mobile...
i need help, my x1 freezes everytime i open the messaging menu, or start writing a text, i have to restart it everytime, and alread ytried updating the firmware, and master reset, none of the worked, and sony ericsson said the phone is not under warranty becuase i bought it from ebay and its a vodafone logo on the back. what should i do? i paid $1000 for this in november and cant even text!! this blows.
boss, 23 Mar 2009anyone ever see the xperia 1 clone? how is it?the clone is somewhat better.
The reception more reliable, and the battery last longer.
WinMo still suxs.
How can i turn off the Data package and make my Wifi as permanant connection? When Wifi is not available it is automatically connection changes to Data package.
Pls advice.. thanks in adv
I been using X1 for few months, notice that overall is okie but the performance was not up to my expectation. Sometimes the reception was very bad, where my friend using the same service provider manage to get full bar but X1 only 1 or 2 bar. The loading of program was slow sometime the screen frozen. I'm trying the new software upgrade.. hope it work better but I loss all my SMS... unable to find way to backup those...
Can I install applications into the external memory if the internal memory is already full? And can the applications be used directly from the external memory?
Does more recently manufactured Xperia have the upgraded ROM, or does all Xperia need to be upgraded by users themselves after purchased?
abed, 22 Mar 2009plz ,people who tried the x1 tell me if it a good phone for bisinessThis is PPC phone, If you like windows mobile- you will love X1. But if you beginner- you will be disappointed...

MS always deliver finished products - no need for update or fix.
Summary: everything is just your fault! :)
Bich Le, 22 Mar 2009The X1 came out a little too late. The features were "hot" when they were announced LAST YEAR.... moreI agree.
The specs are old and outdated!
Another issue(s) is that it is made by HTC - and HTC smartly did not do a good job.
I wonder why SE was so... to give away the manufacturing to HTC.
Now. SE announced HTC will never make another SE model.
