BTW people, I installed a new on-screen keyboard called FingerKeyboard2.

It's free, and with nice big keys. I found it good. If you wanna install it, follow the link...

Have fun.

michael wilson, 05 Mar 2009does anyone know how i can download the operating system touchflow on this phone, the one use ... moreHi Michael,

For TouchFlo 3D, follow the steps that Indra posted on this forum on 28Jan2009. It helped me, and should help you too.

On the subject, you could also install PointUI. I found it very stable on the X1 (never crashed). It's fairly basic compared to TF3D, but fast and it works.

When nokia fanboyz had nothing new to talk about as nokia had nothing new to offer except some old packed junk, now the nokia fans are comparing other brands with SE, but what ever brand you talk about SE technology is much advanced. SE = “would Soon Expire nokia & rest of the brands”.

Here's how to make your touch screen much much better. and i just plagirised :)

1. Use a registry editor.

2. Navigate to or search for:
HKLM/Drivers/TouchPanel/PressureThreshold
and
HKLM/Software/OEM/TFLOSettings/FingerPressure
(eg search on "pressure" and you'll find both)

3. Edit the values to any VERY high value

4. Soft reset

5. Be amazed!

In Greece the windows of this phone has not translated to greek. This is a very big disadvantage. Also i believed this phone would had the interface of HTC and the body of SE but this has the opposites. Its disappointing.

i have Omnia a month now and i used the Xperia. However the qwerty is usefull, the touchscreen wasnt as good as in Omnia in the touch and the stylus is useless. Also i felt this phone more plastic and fragile than Omnia.

If your having trouble using the stylus but tapping works or vice-versa. You have to recalibrate the screen calibration. Go to settings for that.
