Thor, 16 Feb 2009Ohooo only thing bothering me abaut Xperia was, that 3" screen just tends to be too small. now... moreSo Thor, you want a 3.6" screen on your mobile? Alright! But I'm sure you also want the phone's width to be less than 53mm.
You know, that's gonna be a little hard for SE to design. I suggest you design own mobile.
Or maybe you wanna make a compromise and just wait for Touch Pro 3 with a 5" display (weighing only 288gm).
2PAC, 16 Feb 2009Where is the reset key? tap today+settings+system, then tap cancel memory then type 1234 to conferm resetsystem follow the instruction
Ohooo only thing bothering me abaut Xperia was, that 3" screen just tends to be too small. now watch this. HTC Touch Pro 2! in abaut 4 months yeah! 3.6screen, much nicer keyboard, more similar to xperia than Touch pro. It slides also upwards.
Actualy it looks same as Nokia N97!
This is Nokia N97 with Windows OS, rock's haha.
Bye bye xperia, w8ted for you for 1 year, now i will have to w8 only 4 months for pro 2.
Or maybe X2 will come than out haha.
2PAC, 16 Feb 2009Where is the reset key? If you mean the button to reset your device, you have to remove the battery cover and take out the stylus. It is a small hole hidden behind the stylus. And you can use the stylus itself to press it.
indra, 15 Feb 2009Pointui Home 2.0.09a on Xperia :
http://www.youtube.com/watch?gl=RU&hl=ru&v=TrTX-hL_qkwThanks Indra for letting us know about the availability of the PointUI Home 2 interface. I actually have been checking their site regularly for the release, but had not checked in the last week or so.
Anyway, it is also available as a panel for the X1, and that's what I installed. Simple interface, no gimmicks, nice animations, touch response is good and best of all - it works pretty fast. Only takes 3mb of space compared to about 25mb for TouchFlo3D (although TF3D gives more 'tabs'/screens). And no problem in landscape mode, it works fine.
People can download it from:
I love it, just worked perfectly. 1 of the best phone on the market right now
After almost 5 Weeks of intense use of Xperia i must admit , I LOVE IT , i am not an average user and i intend to really overload the phone resources , i found it up to the task and performing superbly, my only comment on that phone would be the touch sensitivity of the screen , it is not as fast nor agile as the iPhone, However i am still in search for tweaks or hacks to have it at best behavior , other then this Go buy this Phone now and quit thinking sisy phones as iPhone.

Ben X1, 15 Feb 2009Hi guys,if you care about a businessmans advice who has used this phone from day 1 and always ... more Another useless lie from someone hiding behind a proxy server. Can't you find something better to do? numbskull
Finally got the phone on Thursday, I like it. I'm constantly having to try and wrestle the phone from my wife cos she absolutely loves it. It does have it's little quirks but I'm sorting that out. The UI takes some getting use to but it didn't take me too long. It does need some tweaks but once that's sorted it will truly be a great multimedia device. X1 rules! Beautiful screen, keyboard, decent battery performance and quite a few developers who offers software tweaks and support. My only question is: Where can I download opera mini for this phone preferably ver 3.12 or 4 cos the current browsers is data hungry and we can save some bucks oh yes and how the heck do you sort out this bluetooth issue?!!!!
Hi guys,if you care about a businessmans advice who has used this phone from day 1 and always has owned the P-series, from the P800 and P900 P910 and the P990i. Here are some findings regarding the X1: Panels look nice but they get stuck all the time when you want to change between them. Phone gets hung and you cant even switch off (hard reset). Phone started to crack, is a fabrication problem what I have hear of of the first generation. HD display keyboard is to small even to use with the stylus. Battery cover is immensely difficult to remove. Broke my nail twice.Overall the phone is relatively unreliable. My msn messenger stopted working after firmware update and panel problem was still not fixed. So you lose more then you gain when you update your firmware.Im thinking about sending the phone back but I dont have any substitute. Maybe ill buy the old P1. Heard that a P5 or P3 was coming out. Only rumours though. I have always used the flagship phones of sony ericcson. They were good phones and ahead of their time, better then the blackberries of many of my counterparties. So I was very excited about the X1.On paper it is still the killer phone. So thats why I feel ver unfortunate to write this comment. If someone has tips im glad to hear about it.What to do when panels get stuck?
Thor , 15 Feb 2009Me to the nokia n97 is the best personal computer/phone out there at the moment i wish x1 wa a... moreDon't use my name pls. only Thor with MmUm is me, gues i will have to stop posting from my E90, where it gives another Ip, a couse you steal name.
Nokia N97 is a good phone. Actualy N97 and X1 you can say have almost same hardware. So the choice between N97 and X1 is the OS. And god know's i am not going with Symbian, couse it sucks on My E90. You should see how nokia Smartphones are slow, they realy need faster CPU.
See Nokia has a good name and nobody bashes it. So when WM is a little slow they all bash that, but even tat little firmware fixes. But Nokia smartphones beeing just so slow, no DIV-x capable even, and nobody comments on that? Gues you pay for the name not functions, when boying Nokia...
But still whyn i bought E90, there was no phone with that realy good hardware, so i was stuck with Smbian, hell, never again.
Me to the nokia n97 is the best personal computer/phone out there at the moment i wish x1 wa as good but not by a long way n97 the way to heaven x1 rubbish bomb lol
I think the new n97 speaks foritself compared to the poxy x1 it puts it shame even the iphone beats the x1 so n97 all round if ya cant bat it join it lol
suman, 15 Feb 2009i think this good device not not better then e71,i some one like touch screen phone then go fo... moreAre you serious? I held E71 and typing is just sooo slow. hate that blackebary type keyboards. Small and veery ugle. If you talk with that on your ear you just look sily. Lot more silly, than with mine E90, which is big, but at least resembles a phone...
