    GSMArena News:

˝The next Sony Ericsson XPERIA won’t be made by HTC˝

    I wonder why?
Can you think of any reasons?

    :)))))

(Yeah, it was really smart decision.)

Some people just can not take the facts, or other people´s opinion.

I guess it is hard to comprehend:
˝Post your opinion about Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1˝

      I respect other´s view :)

If you like it (X1) no argument here :)

Enjoy your phone and I encourage you to buy many - a whole box! ;)
      Nice present to everyone.
)-(although anybody can get it for free with a cheap contract)

I am also disappointed with the performance.
It is much worst than other phones with Winmo, I guess some engineering bug was overlooked.

It was nice to remind me :)

Yes, the Wifi reception also poor.

I understand some people just not looking for reliable, and decent performance.

      X1 may be for you.

It never hurts to try it and if you do not like it you can take it back (without restocking or other fees).

      Any news about X5?

"how are you going do with it?"
if you cant speak english, "Why bother with it?"

and maybe where to set another ringtone is like harder to find then the music player for example (and it should).

Megadeth86, you bought a smart phone and doesn't know how to change a ring tone? Why bother with it? if you don't even know how to change a simple ring tone, what about other functions in the phone, how are you going do with it?

@uSMm - I agree with you. I just got my XPERIA a week ago and I was really amazed of its capability. I have not encountered any problems up to now whatsoever. It works just fine. This is the best WinMo I've ever had and SE is just wonderful. I have downloaded all the extra XPanel and really gorgeous. Internet is really fast, Opera 9.5 browser is also fantastic. SEXPERIA X1 is selling like hotcake in the Middle East especially in Saudi Arabia. When I bought my unit, we are 9 who bought XPERIA at the same time and all of us has preferred the black one looks really sexy.

All new smart phones must come with Dual SIM capibility from now onwards if they want to succeed.

I played with the 5800, it's nothing more than a regular s60 that has become touch screen and a little bit wider screen. X1 is far more superior even to the upcoming n97, with all the programs, tweaks etc. possible with WinMos. X1 is definitely the best mobile phone right now, buy it now if you can afford. It's a purchase you won't regret.

people please wait for the nokia N97 and dont waste your money on rubbish phone and rubbish made. if you want a Windows mobile device than go for HTC they are much more reliable tha SE.

Here's mstL again. If you don't like XPERIA shut up. Buy Nokia, Samsung, LG, etc. SE won't lose anything if you don't like XPERIA. Your complaint is all over again and again. A lot of people in this forum got mad with you because of your always bad post against XPERIA and of course we are XPERIA user. For me, so far XPERIA X1 (WinMo) is the best. Ask Nokia to produce WinMo also so you can compare with X1.

K5, 11 Jan 2009X1 sucks man ...the worst mobile to be ever launched by SE...waited for this phone not to my e... moreI agree!

Too many problems for too many people.

The good thing that it is not sold in high quantities, actually I can not imangine that anybody would give any money for this ....

It is availabe for free with a contract - try it and take it back (most likely you would experience the same problems as we did)

SE is huge corp. PR strong.
they can afford to monitor forums :)

I do not say they do :)

                                      Typical complaints:

                                      - reception problems
                                      - battery: poor performance, overheating
                                      - cracked case

                                      http://www.slashgear.com/sony-ericsson-xperia-x1-case-cracks-appearing-2927945/

You type in ckacked case X' into a search and you will see...

                                      - slow performance
                                      - hang ups

Because for me the phone is for making calls, X1 is totally useless even for free due to its reception problem even.

If you need a PDA or a second phone to carry around and you do not care about reception, or battery lifespan - X1 might be acceptable for you.

                                        - Wayfinder
