mak, 08 Jan 2009is this phone good for music? im big music fan but want touch screen no other fone has both..... moreIf you're looking for a phone with great music quality and using touchscreen interface, I'd suggest you'd consider the Nokia 5800 Tube Xpressmusic. I own one now and I feel much better with it rather than using the iPhone. All features are there, satisfies a lot. Besides you would only spend less than half of what the Xperia cost.
What's the device's video playback quality like? Is there an option to watch the video fullscreen?
Also, what's the music quality with good headphones (KOSS Porta Pro, for example) like?

im big music fan but want touch screen no other fone has both..... moreI think this phone is good for music only if you use high quality headphone/speaker.
The quality of built-in speaker is not very impressive, but is ok for general use.

Anonymous, 09 Jan 2009hi,i want to buy this phone and i came across a chinese site where i can get it for 330 Euro o... moreThis phone is offered free! with a cheap contract.
You can imagine how much the provider pays for it if it is still a good deal for them - 200USD?
May be some reps can tell us.
There is no point to pay for a phone when you van get it for free - or just send a check to SE directly, support them to make even a better phone.
Besides the WinMo problems and some reason the software bugs are more annoying than HTC other phones - X1 made by HTC - there are other anomalies: battery, reception, broken case etc.
As always,it is recommended to have good return policy even if the phone is free.
hi,i want to buy this phone and i came across a chinese site where i can get it for 330 Euro or 450$ Us Dollars.this cost is inclusive of transportation and tax.however at Gsmarena, the price is shown as 510 Euro.
Now, is there a posibility that they want to con me by falling for such a low price?is it real that the phone might actually cost that much? While performing an online transaction like this one, how do i ensure that i get my purchased good and that i dont lose my money to some online conmen.pliz anyone assist me.-CORRECTION OF THE PREVIOUS POST.
Wow! This is the no. 1 phone in this forum by now...I wonder how much is this here in the philippines.
I have been having it for the last 1 month and features are awesome. its good to use and talk time is good, just need to know how to install remote desktop connection (RDP ) on this phone, can anyone tell me how to do it.
The Xperia is excellent, no question. . I have proper benchmark figures from a real world device, and the reality is that the device is capable of recording VGA 30fps, but it can only playback at 20fps. Most people will not notice this, so it is not a huge issue. Coreplayer will play divx on the device
There are some irritating issues with bluetooth turning off when the device sleeps. 99% of all of these problems are resolved by installing the commercial version of SPB mobile shell or the free XperiaTweak app.
You can post sms more than 160 character cause it supports paging. It just too good too be true... and if some one want to listen to music , ya its good but better buy and W910/C905, they are best for sounds... not even Nokia can deliver that type of sound on head phones.
Guys.. why cry for the price.. SE already stated that they are not looking for mass nos. Experia X1 is the first phone from their Xperia series..
