Nor are there a... moreYou is wrong, the htc Touch Pro is the brother of the Xperia or htc Touch HD hd the big brother when available. In my opinion, flat screen is better. However Xperia do have more resolution on screen. You choice, both phones are really htc phones. Regards.

But you need to realize that you will encounter a lot of problems as the X1 uses inferior WindowsMO which is by far the worst operating system on the market.

When u receive Bluetooth fil on SYmbian based devices, it ges in Inbox aka Text Message inbox. As Xperia is also based on Symbian so it will be there in ur inbox. Thanks.

Hi, I got my x1 from today, everything is perfect, just I can't connect to wifi?? Any advice, I was using few mobile phones with wifi never any trouble, but this is first WM phone, what can be wrong, many thanks for any advice..

It says all on X1 reviews that X1 has ONE of the BEST Displays on the Market!!!!!!!!

guys i just got the X1 trust me i think its the best phone to have if you wana go on the net or write messages plus the screen is AMAZING, you can't imagine!
the only think that is not that good is the camera..but it's not a big deal for me after all..

I've seen an early demo model of this phone and unfortunately it has a very fragile plastic look to it. No surprise if you have seen the HTC Touch Pro, its "cousin", which looks very nice in the photos but in the store looked like a cheap toy out of a Kinder egg.
I am also very skeptical of Sony Ericsson and Windows Mobile. I never liked WinMo to begin with and Sony Ericsson are terrible with phone software.

@ last the long awaited review ,before xmas,thought it would have been for next year,closer
to its announced date (feb).anyway better late than never.But seems to be a brief/preview review, not full/depth one.
But don't agree with comments about cam performance,though it has 3.mp ,it has the touch(screen) focus technology for taking pics,not common on other mobile-cam phon with higher mp.
Am i the 10th opin...hope will be another full/depth review, Merry X1 MAS to all !

Anyway, I can't believe somebody made such an incredible phone. It is gorgeous ! They put everything on it ! The only problem is that it is making you addicted, especially for those guys that are a little bit geeky... with thousands and thousands of programs working on it, what can I say ? Go for it or... go for it ! Oh, my God ! My girlfriend will have to suffer a lot from this phone. Especially in the first months, till I do some customization and when I will spend less time with her than Xperia. :)))

sajad khan, 23 Dec 2008sonyericsson cells display sucks,only 65 k colour,shame on them,nokia 6300 has 16 million colourYes, the SE X1 displays 65k colours as opposed to the Nokia 6300 16million but the Nokia only displays a resolution of 240x320 whiles the X1 is at 800x480. I really don't think you need the colour depth on a phone and lining both phones up the diplay on the X1 is far superior to that of the Nokia. Given the choice I'd go for a finer resolution over increased colour depth any day of the week. X1 is deinitely a nice phone I prefer my X1 over my HTC Touch Diamond (although both are great!)

The Xperia kicks a.ss no Nokia will ever beat the N97 is crap compared to the X1 the only nice feature in the N97 is that it has 32GB memory.
The X1 is a windows mobile the OS in N97 is Symbian OS v9.4 which is crap and very slow.
THE X1 IS THE BEST
