SE just could NOT WAIT! :((((((
˝A Sony Ericsson representative has confirmed that the Sony Ericsson Xperia will be delayed until January (2009) due to problems with the Windows Mobile 6.1 operating system.˝
- and now the consumer stuck with an defected product?
Steve Ballmer, CEO at Microsoft, himself has confirmed Windows Mobile 6.5 is officially, official!
Just in time for Christmas, Vodafone UK has announced that it will be offering the Xperia X1 for FREE!!!!!!!!!!
I got this phone. Everything is perfect except the font size is too small. Anyone knows any software that can increase the font size. Pls advise email@example.com
Gadis, 27 Nov 2008Wow...so cute..but i a bit dispointed becasue this phone no slot card and memory only 8GB. I m... moreXperia has a card slot and supprts upto 32GB, who told you it does'nt have slot??
No, the phone doesn't have an accelerometer! Apologies for the poor spelling, i'm dying of Man-Flu!!!
Wow...so cute..but i a bit dispointed becasue this phone no slot card and memory only 8GB. I more prefered with slot card. Compare this Xperia X1 and C905 which one more better and worth it?
Does this phone has accelerometer? This is an important issue nowadays and I'm wondering if it supports auto-rotate.
Well, SE had some quality issues in the past. Now, SE decided that HTC should make its “flagship˝.
I always said this was a huge mistake. HTC was not known about high quality manufacturing.
Now, X1 has all kind of problems.
Cracks of the case, battery problems, someone suggested that it is due to current leakage due to ram manufacturing error.
The list of problems are long and getting londer every day.
But, this is another example to share our experiences since people can be aware of them and prevent the long term effects - like return/exchange the unit during the grace period.
from the Cnet review:
"Aside from the interactive panels and a couple of multimedia extras, Xperia X1 is very much like other Windows Mobile 6.1 devices and the aforementioned features don't seem to justify spending the extra dough."
read... "very much like other window mobile 6.1 device"
At $799, it is just not worth it˝
the Xperia X1 is going to be available at Best Buy on Black Friday(11-28-08)/in a couple of days. it's on BestBuy.com for $799.99...only silver. no carrier yet, so $799.99 is the price.
im tempted to buy it, but this is why im going to wait...
i personally believe that Sony Ericson announced this phone early in the year to get people hyped on on buying it, and then laid a large price tag on it so that those hyped up customers will have a hard time not buying it and waiting for the price to drop. market manipulation.
if this phone was released at $499.99, i would buy it in a heart beat.
on top of that, i want to see what the HTC Touch HD is like.
if im going to pay $500+ for a cell phone, im going to make sure it's something i like A LOT. decent laptops go for less than $799.99. why not buy a decent laptop and get a cheap free phone with a contract?
that's just my personal opinion.
You say its slow???
