Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970Yes HTC helped SE make Xperia but its SE product, look at the quality of it, its Solid and Elite not like HTC's cheap material
Very High priced...i think one can go for HTC Touch Pro or Blackberry Storm or Nokia N96 having less price and almost same features.
Had it 5 days & superb.Had xda orbit before xperia & xperia is much better but fairly techy, be warned !!! screen is bliss.
this is one beast its taken 4hrs to get all the basics set up..really impressed so far so much to explore
Xperia owners should try this very useful t9 phonepad http://www.speedyshare.com/180288944.html

Bottomline, the XPERIA X1 is being positioned -- not just as a consumer or a productivity device, but one that offers you the best of both worlds -- a "wicked" entertainment appliance, yet loaded with productivity features that the most fastidious mobile professional could use very effectively in an enterprise context. There's already a fans website for the phone http://www.Xperia-X1.org LOL
Must have for your X1 Please check out this site http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=441439

Anonymous, 24 Nov 2008May be ti is a hard concept to understand - but some of us who are disappointed with the phone... moreLousy signal goes hand in hand with lousy battery..I getting full strength no problem,,WI-FI does dis-connect when not using it but re-connects as you select a new command BUT thats happens with my n82..My router is not that good cause sometimes my laptop disconnects,,i do hate wi-fi and on my mobiles never use it just use gprs or for big loads 3g/hsdpa where their is signal..I mainly use gprs with images off and thats fine for most searches or wiki search answers..
The gadget show just tested this plus other fones and first test was to dial 999 in emergency,,,,ITS dead easy,,press green button dial999 press green button,,tut t
