for those whom battery ran out too fast....turn off all device after using it by click on top right click on setting >>> stop all....that way you keep you batery life longer.
well after 8 months of waiting finally i have this device in my hand, its really perfect the performance is good but like any computing device if you push it too far it will halt but in that case you can still see this device manage to work it out(for instance if p990 halts it takes about 5-10 min to recover or you need to reset it),the design is perfect everything makes this device elegant and modern, but the only thing that you may notice the little movement between lcd and keyboard but its not a big deal all the slider phones have this property so far, the screen is magnificent you can see details perfectly no blink nothing its simply perfect. in case of auto rotate you can just assign a right/left soft key to auto rotate and rotate the screen whenever you like.
the only problem i have with this device is that the active sync of windows mobile doesn’t work on the vista so there is a little challenge the connect this device to computer. but in general this phone is perfect.
Dani, 18 Nov 2008Giving IMEI numbers is dangerous..... anyone can hack into your phone!you're dumb. no they cant. its only used for fraudulent purposes you fool.
Anonymous, 18 Nov 2008sm of u guyz r forgettin..or may b neva evn knew tht a business's 1 n ONLY goal is to maximize... moreHow helpfull you are to say "as i have said in my previous posts" and call yourself annonymous thats good that!!! As a matter of interest which annonymous are you then theirs too many too choose from,,why dont people put a name ,,anything just something to have an identity to relate too
Here's a review with video: http://mobilearsenal.com/review/sony_ericsson_xperia_x1_too_much_hype/introduction_package_contents.html
Nobody should be even considering any negative remarks by any of those "anonymouse" losers who never had the luxury to even look at the real Xperia and now are giving reviews like they had it and it gave them so much problems that they returned it. Most of these are basically Nokia 3310 or 1100 poor users who don't even know what a good mobile means...LOL
To all SE Lovers...just don't listen to these contineus rants about Xperia being outdated or buggy or battery time not good or anything like that, most of these posts if you observe has the same pattern which is ...loads of bulls*it and NO facts.
Xperia is one of the best mobile to hit market and those who neither have the money to buy it nor has the ability to understand the basics of an WM device are posting crap about this set.
And add those who are literally pulling thier hairs off with frustration since thier "favourite" brand has completely failed to produce a set which can match Xperia in style and functionality...and with that ugly brick called N96 failing so badly...yeah all those loyal fans in thier desperation only can do what they always do, that is ...LIE
Xperia is neither buggy nor outdated, for any person who has a working brain and ability to understand new things, new concepts..its a perfect device. But its so sad that many people in this world have the brain of the size of a peanut and they can't accept that some other brand can produce an equally or better device than their "beloved" brand. Its pathetic if you ask me but thats how it is and we will have to bear those losers wether we want it or not. So just don't listen to those pathetic remarks by people who have never even seen a real Xperia with their own eyes and are trying to be an expert on this sssue.
Xperia is BRILLIANT!!!!
X1, 18 Nov 2008Hello anonymous, do u know the price of X1 in dubai? or anywhere? i see that u sometimes sa... more29,900 Thai baht, roughly 850 usd... Seen it today and the actual triangle shaped keys look very cheap...
amin, 18 Nov 2008is dis phone better than d nokia 1100?..i`m sure its not...Dear Amin,
Do you even know anything about SE XPERIA XI. The mere thought of comparing this phone with Nokia 1100 is preposterous (Absurd/ foolish). Please get your facts right. You then have the audacity of saying that Nokia 1100 is better. Gosh which planet do you live in?? Your ignorance and arrogance amazes me. I have nothing against Nokia they have some really good phones but please compare phones from the same segment.
this is a worst phone by sony ericsson but this phone made by htc.dont buy this phone.bad network bad screen size.in my office nokia works very good but this phone is not working due to network.dont waste your money.
Well, SE's customer care line have confirmed that the Xperia is sold out across almost the whole of the UK. They don't even have any in their own e-shop. One of their fastest ever selling handsets. They also confirmed that the battery life stabilises after about a week of average use, and that the vast majority of returned units were found to have no defects, it ws simply people who didn't like it, or couldn't get to grips with WinMo...
do u know the price of X1 in dubai? or anywhere? i see that u sometimes say perfect things about X1 and othertimes u just hate it, why is that...cheers buddy
ok! After years of using SE and months of waiting for this phone (X1) I give up… while waiting, I bought the iphone, good for entertainment, HTC touch PRO, which sucked because of WM OS; slow, freezes, etc. After reading all these reviews and no FACTS when the x2 is coming out, I am moving over to the dark side. I am thinking of buying the Nokia E71, I have heard good comments from most users. I have never used a Nokia before so hopefully I will like it!!
Anonymous, 18 Nov 2008There's got to be some kind of filter on voting otherwise brand fanboys would vote straight 10... moreYep!
I always thought of that! I even wrote to gsmarena about doing something, to shrink the rights on voting cell phones!
Just now, I've thought of something: maybe, if gsmarena were into some kind of business with each brand, Nokia, SE, Samsung, Sagem, etc., having access to all IMEIs on the market, that would do it.
So, if you were the owner of an i8510, or an N82, you'd have to enter the IMEI, prior to being able to vote the phone.
I seems pretty logical to me. Say you got an X1, and you've had both up and downsides with it, you'd be able to imagine and have your own review of the phone, thus giving a real vote. Because you'd be able to set it, legally so to speak, on a scale from 1 to 10.
