Just got this phone in yesterday, and it is AWESOME. Scrolling and panning rivals the smoothness of the iPhone, and the screen is incredible, just incredible. The keyboard is great as well, so is the whole "x-panel" idea... I haven't had to use a stylus yet! I'm a big SE- hater, but seeing as this phone was made by HTC I thought I'd give it a shot... Fabulous phone!

Why do people buy Windows Mobile devices when they don't have the sense or can't be bothered to find out how to optimize and customize the os for personal preference? If your concerned about power management then go to xda-developers and find out some tips n tricks.WM is not designed with the average joe in mind.....

Thor, 08 Nov 2008Well it goes like this: Fist SD cards were formated to FAT16, and FAT16 supports till 4 GB. So... moreWay back when hc micro-sd cards come out they predited that a theoretical possibility of the cards to go to 32gb,,so thats maybe all they can get into that size card but the likes of samsung always show off a try for bigger, i noticed an ssd drive of 70gb by them even tho the norm is 64gb i think they were just showing what can be got out of that type of card.At moment using 16gb card in my n82 and things start to become a bit out of hand,,with so many songs video clips and fotos its a lot to sort on a small device but in contrast if i put some films on 16gb it seems nothing to sort out "but" the biggest drawback is its a class 2 hc micro-sd card by sanddisk and filling it up is really slow..When i first went to 4gb it was not bad but as i then went to 8gb things got slower with music transfer via the usb sandisk hc adapter specially done for hc cards..Then 16 gb came and transferring 1345 mp3 some at 192kb/s took hrs..Also with bigger 16gb i have started to uprate some of my fave tunes to 192kb/s and dont forget vga at 30fps on my n82 is taking up 23 mb a minute in recording,, so memory cards are getting slower but video ,jpeg and mp3 files getting bigger which is not good we need faster cards for the bigger files produced by the newer phones ...

ANT, 08 Nov 2008i dont think its really good i got one for my birthday. i have to charge it 2 times and day so... moreRemember to close any open applications that aren't being used, that'll help extend the battery life. Also, li-po batteries, as someone else pointed out a few days ago, take a few charges to break in. After a few days you should find that you're having to charge it less...

Actually, spambots seem to be pretty common. Might be an idea for the administrators to put in that feature where you have to type in the characters on the security image before it'll allow you to post. Personally I'd like to see a log in system applied as well, but that's less of a big deal. The security image though - I think that'd be a good idea. Sure it might be a slight pain in the ass but to be honest it'd be preferable to seeing all these supposed sales offers. Also, there are no doubt people out there who don't know how to spot these scams and this could help prevent them from getting suckered. I know this isn't GSMarena's responsibility, but it would be a nice addition to the website...

Now all I gotta do is see if I can get one of these XPERIA bad-boys out of Vodafone on an early upgrade. Not sure if I will, coz I've got 7 months left on my contract, but I know that it CAN be done, and I'm a high value customer (actually, according to VF themselves I'm an ULTRA high value customer) so my chances seem pretty good.

And yeah, 32gb will probably b more than enough. I have almost my entire music collection, plus 2 full movies on my W960, and the only reason I'd need a high capacity card is that the screen on the XPERIA is so nice it'd be great for watching movies on long journeys, and I'd like to have more than 2 to choose from.

And, slightly off topic (okay, more than slightly) - Mighty Thor movie by 2011, leading up to The Avengers. Excited? I know I am...

Revenant, 08 Nov 2008Has anyone found out yet what the max capacity memory card that this phone can support is? Ce... moreWell it goes like this: Fist SD cards were formated to FAT16, and FAT16 supports till 4 GB. So if you have 10 years old phone that specifications sa it support 1 GB, it is only cause there were no bigger SD cards at the time. If you try you see every device supports 4 GB, even my old Camera did(though procesoor was a litle slow and it hardly maneged it)

This newphones support SDHC stander what means basicly FAT32. and FAT32 supports up to 32GB. Buts there are tweaks on COmputer as you know can have 500GB FAT32 driver os more(it maneges that as it puts together more 32GB disk into one).

But mobile phones will not support sucks tweaks so porbabla for Nokia E90, N95, N96, X1, Touch pro, Diamond the limit for SD card is 32GB.

Though windows mobile is prety customable, so if they made tweaks on Windows, why not on Windows Mobile, that would mean limitless capacity for SD card inside X1, Touch pro and alike.

But i think 32 GB should realy be anough for you :P

Has anyone found out yet what the max capacity memory card that this phone can support is? Certainly I'd expect a 16gb card to work, but what about 32gb? And does the phone start lagging when the card has just about reached it's capacity...?
