So what is the problem with HTC from Taiwan, in a market in which all IT hardware is manufactured in Asia? Soon BMW, Mercedes and Lamborghini will be manufactured in China and Vietnam by bicycle factories based on the decision of Western capitalists, so what is your problem: you don't like Asian locations or you don't like Western decisions?

You got serious problem if you think this (X1) is the Lamborghini of the cell phones.
Expensive products has some special features like performance, reliability etc.
X1 is nothing like that.
X1 got no performance advantage (like Lamborghini)
- limited internal memory, OS, CPU.
The design is an old Psion one which was copied already several times.
It is manufactured by HTC
and it will be totally worthless in a few months - unlike a Lamborghini!

This is a quality "high end" device so why are people complaining about the price.
Who would ever expect a PocketPC to be cheap in price?
I think those price whiners out there, are out of their depth, or expect things on a silver platter, how about working a little extra and saving the money to buy a high end device like the X1, you have had since February after all.
If you dont want to pay that price, then look at some low to middle range phones.
Can you imagine going up to a Lamborghini salesperson and saying, "Im not paying that money for a car which is not much faster than other cars out there at half the price!"

Yes, it can be connected as Bluetooth Modem but I won't recommen... morei don0t realy know abaut ascelometer, but i think it is not insode.
What i can confirm is that there sure isn't any auto UI rotate, so that make me think there is no ascelometer, as they would use for autorotete, if it was.

Anonymous, 28 Oct 2008Yes, 630 Euro is nothing for you but you suggest taht you happy to save 200 Euro by getting it... morewell i waa talking relatively. 630 is a lot of course, too much for me, but still comparing to other products, nokias are more overpriced, so don0t say that SE is overpriced.
That is what i wanted to say. And as far as i am concerned, i will sell 2 yer old Nokia E90 for 300 and buy 2 months old X1 for abaut 400-450, i say quite a good trade :)

When the first videos come out on xperia the dutch speaking chap said it was walkman,,cybershot etc all in one premium product..Now i dont see any mention of cybershot or walkman,,i am not sure now what i am actually buying if i get on..I am not paying for basic camm,,non walkman phone with 3inch touch screen and windows behind the panes,,i would save money and buy touch pro

r2ak, 28 Oct 2008its a really good phone and i love it. its the best phone in the world all the other pho... moreMy samsung d900 gets hot and my n82 gets hot on a 3g video download,,the hottest fone i had was samsung z500 it was scorching hot whilst charging and normal phone call,,so yes phones do get hot after periods of long use and using 3g or heavy loading..If its hot that you cannot touch it then something is short circuiting but normal heat say lukewarm cup of tea i would consider normal

Sony Ericsson? No. It is produced by HTC for SE . And it costs about 700$ in Poland? No way. I won't buy it.

No had a phone for years guy but am getting telt that on these phones noo adays you can actually take a photo and send them as SMS but will cost you £8 per text you send whit i find right heavy.
IS THIS TRUE TECHNOLEDGY GUYS?

SE management is out of their mind - 630 Euro!!!!
They certainly not paying attention:
- competition (prices and features of other phones)
- economy (We are in a World-wide recession)
But I guess they have their own reasons (see below)
and some how I am not surpriced.
(unlike fans who expected a 550 USD price)
Most SE phones are overpriced and after few months the price (new!!!) drops 50%!!!!!!! or MORE!!!
SE almost broke even? or NOT!

xxxHehe, even after fish and chips, or a packet of crisps :) lol.
I know what u mean, smudgy finger prints are a mare on touch screens. This phone is ace, was watching james bond trailer on it the picture was flawless, and it has a proper 3.5mm audio jack, mint.
