Got my Sony X1 from vodafone on my upgrade, £40 a month - 12 month contract. Getting delivered tuesday (tomorrow) can't wait :)

Until such times as you can sell your Samsung J700 and buy a good phone please be quiet or even write some reviews about how good your 1.3 megapixel camera is, the problem is people like you who think 5/8 megapixel cameras automatically make the phone this superpower when if you do some proper research you will see that not all these new phones with 8 megapixel cameras are as great as you would expect.
So i would suggest to you Kim try maybe the next step up for you is to get a Samsung E900 that has a 2megapixel and shoud excite and shut you up for a while .

Vodafone shops now have them in stock, i just messed aroung with one for 10 mins or so and looks amazing but not sure about the extra weight it carrys but overall i think its possibly the best phone on the market right now and before the Nokia/Samsung fans start moaning YES IT DOES ONLY HAVE A 3.2MEGAPIXEL CAMERA but try remember that its probably as good as most so called 8 megapixel cameras now coming out.
I have a Sony k800 from years back and still takes better picture than my N95 or OMNIA

Am a big fan of SE!
But cumn days nokia is bringing sum gud mobiles&most of them touchscreen&wth gud battery life...
Sony & ericcson is they goin2 split!
SO dis year SE rules but 2009 its NOKIA!!!!

Doopsy, 27 Oct 2008So Sorry... so then the omnia now only has 1 ok feature that the X1 doesn't have... will still... moreWell Omnia has TV-OUT, that one feature, X1 has qwerty, much more importand. X1 can be a laptop replacement, Omnia can not, that a big difference i must say.
phone without qwerty are just toys for me. Cause i use my Nokia E90 like laptop replacement and it does its job prety well. Word Typing MSN Messenger 24/7 connected, abaut 2 hours per day chating, skype always on.
Just soma small thing bother me on Symbian, but X1 will have even that.

I think you got something worng aswell my friend,THE screen doesn't suffer badly from any sun light(and i'm speaking about both X1 & I900)
But from the Direct sun light that hits the screen,lets say between the times of 11:00am untill 2:00pm where the sun is almost centered on the sky,both of them suffer from the Direct light that hits the screen,although funny when a person think he or she would always use the phone at that time walking out side,sometimes you work in you'er office or driving in you're car or whatever you're doing even at that time the screen shows great bright information.

WHO TOLD YOU X1 SCREEN DO A BETTER JOB UNDER SUN LIGHT?
hahahahahahahaha,dont make coments unless you used the phone smart guy,we have under the price of 950US$ here and guess what>? THE SCREEN SUCKS JUST AS THE I900 under sun light,i used it my self more than once,why else would you think i REALLY changed my mind from the X1.LOLz same screen problem as the I900 only I900 has the better points i just mentioned.
NOTE:
-I900 screen is in fact 256 colors,THOUGH windows mobile doesnt support more than 65K colors.
HOWEVER
-SE X1 screen is 65K colors ONLY,they didnt even put a much of a screen colors like SAMSUNG did,i know its point less to do so but the one on SAMSUNG's feels better.
FINALLY,
You should NEVER close you're eyes from the fact the becuase windows mobile system doesnt support more than 65K colors,it is normal to suffer under sun lihgt and the SE X1 is NO exception.Please use the phone first and if i'm wrong then i swear i'll get you what ever you ask for(take it as a bit!)

I want to say ONE MORE thing to those who are in love with the typical SE X1
-Do you know that the extraordinary OR WHAT YOU ALL THINK unique XPanels, are in fact shortcuts, all of the WOW! Panels are accessible from the main windows panel. Its just a round move to make a costumer think that the phone is exceptional NO magic used though, nothing new or productive (in other words practical)
I don’t understand how other say its better than the I900, how could the stupid xpanels which are in fact shortcuts make the X1 offer more the I900 in terms of
-CAMERA
-MEMORY
-SCREEN SIZ -FILE FORMAT SUPPOTING
-WEIGHT
I don’t think some shortcuts with a round up marketing style is really practical, look for the main stuff NOT the out looking animation!
SAMSUNG I900 IS A REAL WINNER!

ZEDAN, 27 Oct 2008Check the price at SonyEricsson its 650$. So stop crying..At $650 means i would pay roughly R8500, thats a lot of money for a phone when you can get a HTC diamond for R6500

looks like this phone is best ever.. had it in my hands on saturday (silver), very impressed. tarrifs quite high so just gonna wait till new month starts so will compare prices on different net. this phone looks best in black.. ?
