i using the X1 less than a week and i found the phone front panel side is very sharp. i did cut my finger. i went to repair but the singapore service centre at bishan . they told me got to wait for spare parts. I wait for two years and still no spare parts to reapir. yet a expensive phone but service not up to standard. i feel so sad and i swear i would not purchase any ...........

if you think this is the best smartphone that says a lot about your IQ.its not bad butt very far from being the best.and the major problem is the OS.windows mobile is the worst OS on the market.you khant use the crapyest OS and say that this is the best smartphone.

this phone has been giving i and my friend serious problem which is the phone rebooting each time it starts up

x1 is realy a nice hardy phone, compare with other models. very frendly as you useto it.you get the real color .x1 felt on rock side still no damage can u belive it.

Why the f... should I have to switch to the outdated GSM to make it last longer??? Secondly, what can I do to improve the sound quality? My buddy has a N97 and we compared the video playback. I am so disappointed with SE . . . No wonder their market share dropped to only 3,5%. This is the last SE I've wasted my money on . . . Sorry

The X1 is the best smart phone ever! Trust me it is super amazing I love it!!!
Regarding the battery you just need to switch from UMTS to GSM network and it will work just fine. Go to the network and change the setting from auto to gsm and it will make your battery life very good.
You only need to switch to auto again if you want to use video calls or you want a very fast internet for downloads. Otherwise keep it in GSM mode and the battery will be fine.
Also the sound through the headphone is fuking amazing!!! It's so clear and high and pure. X1 rules and the price for it now is very affordable.

The bad of xperia x1 is that the battery doesnt last long, in one day my battery is totally empty. Also the sound is so weak! no other problems with my x1

All is good about this set except the sound. i mean the sound coming from its tiny speaker is so cheap, but it's great with the headphones.
