when is this phone going to be launched in india? m eagerly waiting for this handset to be in my hands as i luv the way it is nd also its a much better phone with all specifications than iphone.

According to play.com it will be available from the 13th October. Sim free, unlocked for £500. Perhaps UK networks will be releasing them at a similar date.

Anyone saw the tv series " knight rider " there was a girl using X1 and it was Awesome see ep 1 of Knight Rider .

If you work in a Mobile retailer in the UK (like CPW) you should get mobile magazine. in there it says the X1 is shipping into UK in the next 2 weeks, how long it takes for those stores to actually get around to selling it is totally different. Also I have spoken to a SE rep and he said end of October for release. Personally I believe its better to postpone a handset and get all the stupid faults out of the way so it runs as it should on release. Nokia and SE havent been doing that recently, and are sending out handsets then discovering faults (K850i!). Hopefully they're just being careful and dont want to jepodise their flagship handset!

SE XPERIA X1 was release 30. september!
Now you must just find stores, that sell it already. SE obviously shipped XPERIA to reselers on 30. sept, they are the one now making the delay.

Number 1 - Don't know when it will be released
Number 2 - Mid-November
Number 3 - Mid-October

Because of your style to delay XPERIA X1, now global economic are in Crisis! How to do with your great product?
I think if you release XPERIA X1 a bit earlier (Same as iPhone 3G), you will have more chance.
I'm so bored to wait this XPERIA X1 to come out! 30-Sep-2008?

Can 5800 compare with Xperia? All know Xperia billion times better than 5800.
Nokia doing the same thin which Motorola did. SE, Samsung and LG are doing great job in mobile market. All can see the success of SE, Samsung and LG with in next couple of years.
