i have been using x1 for almost 3 yrs now (2008 - 2010). it's seem working ok to me and i have no problem with it until now.

A broken flex cable especially after only one year seems too bad an investment. Is it just with few sets or with most?

I hjad the same problem and they gave (GAVE me for free) X2. And with the last update MR2 (last friday) its a bombastic phone.

i have been using this phone since feb 2009. but last month i got the biggest prob. the flex got broken. flex is the wire tape connecting the display screen. cause of the prob is because this phone is slide type phone. also the prob i agree with the low volume sound. also the battery.
