No the phone has not been released. Yes its late and no sony did not scrap the phone. The phone will be release at the end of the month of Oct at the earliest, sucks.

This phone is released as per UK SONY official WEBSITE as the COMING SOON logo has been removed. But I don't know where it is available. Any idea?

Is sony ever going to release this handset or has it scrapped the idea. Looking at the HTC, which is flooded the market with amazing handsets, Sony surely is losing of potential buyers.

hahaha, 02 Oct 2008yeah, you may be right... you may be a very few who got X1..... may be a "PROTOTYPE" and you d... moreLOL oh yeah keep being jealous, to me, to UK people, who in fact can now enjoy the real phone while you can only drool over the pictures, entertaining yourself that nobody is able to get any now LOL pity...I got one in the box with all the goodies in it, don't care if it's prototype but it's fully functional and flawless, why bother...at least it's better than just drooling over pictures like you...hahaha

Omigosh! I am getting crazy waiting for my dream X1! When will SE release this here in the Phils.? It seems that X1 has already been marketed everywhere except the Philippines, hahaha! Cute thing!
