hey guys.. im just a one guy that waiting for xperia to come out. ( like every one else )
OK. I have question.. CPU for this phone is Qualcomm MSM7200. But there are Newer CPU thats out in HTC (Qualcomm MSM7201A) witch already came out while ago. are they going to update one the CPU for xperia?? B/C newer CPU are more efficient. (even they have same speed )
( need CPU speed and lot of RAM for xperia right? )
If this smartphone was made from polycarbonate like most would this be the most powerfull lightest smartphone ever????
What gets me is how SE have only given it 65K colours and yet it has a 3" screen, although next to the iPhone's 3.5", this is comparatively quite small.
Other than that, I absolutely love the phone, at lease on par with the iPhone.
Anonymous, 30 Sep 2008Yes I just bought it and it's so damn cool!!!!! No complaints so far, it's near perfect. Never... moreoh thats gr8!!...btw can u post a mini review of the phone - as I might buy it.
Yes I just bought it and it's so damn cool!!!!! No complaints so far, it's near perfect. Nevermind the delay, it is worth the wait. Love it!!!!!
Anonymous, 30 Sep 2008This phone is to expensive (850USD) and to slow (OS) because of windows mobile...Will not buy ... moreThen don't buy it and stay away, SE doesn't require you to buy their products anyway. HTC HD is full touchscreen, X1 has full qwerty keyboard, please be a little smarter to compare apple to apple. Some of us don't care much about the flashy full touchscreen or an iPhone 3G whatever, we need full sized keyboard, push mail, and Windows Mobile with pocket PC that lets us edit office documents for work. And if your budget is only $400 for this kind of phone LOL please kindly shut up and go get yourself a Motorola RAZR flip phone that many retards still consider the best phone ever. Your comment is more of a joke. Thank you.
This phone is to expensive (850USD) and to slow (OS) because of windows mobile...Will not buy this phone for more than 400USD!!! Can have the HTC HD with better features than the X1 for the same price so...
If Xperias are being shipped as of today, it means retailers will receive them thursday, friday or early next week.
By the way, the SE online store says October 2008, not October 8th. They never give an exact date on the e-store.
Just had training with the Sony guys and a demo of the phone. Its the best for a while now...
Were due it in stock 10th October
now at stores have x1 stock and prepare to advertise this phone then they sell it..maybe the stores add many gifts for you.oct is a month where the x1 will be sold by stores.it's imposible when the day SE stock x1 then the stores sell it directly..it takes few days to sell x1.
Sony ericsson official web site shows both Xperia X1 and C905 released on October 8.
Is Xperia X1 avalabel from today?
Sometime SE should learn how Samsung announces and releases their products.
Woo...so if the stores do not sell their X1s soon...there'll be another wait...
haha....really tired of this waiting stuff lolz ...;|
no.no..30 sept is where SE stock x1 at stores and when the x1 will be sold it is depend on stores business strategy not SE, the stores are included SE store so it means SE store it self doesnt sell the x1 in 30 sept but oct..
indra, 29 Sep 2008on xperia has 2 systems but combined that means you can use these systems at 1 time..when you ... moreFirst of all there is a clear difference between 16M and 65K. Be sincere and tell the truth! I have a BB Curve with 65K and QVGA res. I also have a Nokia N82 with 16M and QVGA res. It is brazenly, blatantly obvious that the N82 has a more colourful and pleasing screen. The eye can differentiate far more than 65K colours. Read the scientific journals!
Secondly, the screen may sound great on paper but "in vivo" it is too small (cross sectional area) to read internet pages comfortably. Try viewing the whole width of this GSM Arena page on the SE X1 without scrolling sideways. The print will be too small! It is obvious that Nokia's E90 has the best solution: a high res 4 inch screen. That is what SE should have done with the X1: implement a 3.8-4.0 inch widescreen. Internet interactions would have been a joyful experience!
Thirdly, the best keypads at present are Nokia E90 and HTC Touch Pro. Each of them has a five row keypad which includes a separate row for numbers. Therefore both phones are highly adapted for speed typing. SE X1 has the archaic four row keypad which will not be as fast.
Fourthly there are further signs of aging. Let us face it, 5MP cameras are now the standard on high-end phones. Don't dare tell me that this is a business phone. It is an all-in-one. SE made clear the all rounder status by implementing camcording at VGA, 30fps.
