Sony ericsson confirmed that the X1 has 400MB of internal memory, which is expandable up to 32 gigabytes using High Capacity microSD cards, although currently only cards up to 16 gigabytes have been released by SanDisk.384MB RAM is available for it

Indonesian, 25 Sep 2008For indo girl/anyone, SE X1 will get another marketing tragedy, just like P1i if it is sold mo... moreRecently the HTC Touch "high end" Pro has entered Indonesian market for IDR 8.6-8.8 million, and that's a brilliant settlement I would say for myself (Reviewing Nokia's "unbelieveable" E90 first release that reached more than IDR 15 million). I'm affraid there will be the same price blow up for Sony's Xperia X1 (somepeople waiting for it to happen, trust me). If its getting past IDR 9 million, its just won't worth it (IMHO). I'm not working for Nokia or something, but it will be better to buy the Cheap o' E71 for only IDR 4 million, and use the rest of the money for other usefull things. Lets see how well will Sony Ericcson handle this issue...

2 specific very obvious wrong things:
1- That guy was comparing a final production phones vs an Early Trial Version of the Xperia that will never be released. Old Roms, not all software installed, not all functions enabled, not all hardware conected or fine tuned. Tha's not oranges vs oranges.
2-Fanboys hooked to their devices have zero credibility, zero objectivity. Their opinios are based on their ego and feelings. How come a proto announced last winter and delivered exactly when was originally announced has nothing special today when I don't know of another phone yet released, that has all the features, and quality of the Xperia. (better ones will come but not today)(pinguino)

Just back from a hectic and successful week at CTIA event in San Francisco. It was exciting to announce the panel SDK and have analyst/media attend the group discussion on future of panels with partners like SPB, Microsoft & Handango and the excitement that panels brings to this world of personalization.
Having met enormous media it was good to realize how the mobile phone consumer today is missing the flexibility of making the phone his own in terms of the user experience. And how excited they were with Panels and how it gives a gateway to his/her mobile life - ability to customize his phone experience and information based on how he uses his phone at various stages in his life.
And the best part was everyone who heard my pitch on panels always came back with their own panel idea - eg: ‘can I have panel for my concert listing’, cookery panel, sports, social network panel, panel to access my company corporate assets, fitness panel and so on … this just proves the point that the possibilties are infinite with panels and this certaintly enables XPERIA to be the best and most adaptable mobile companion product.
XPERIA is definitely leading the real web 2.0 philosophy by keeping user at the heart of product and a first step in Open Innovation (through panels )products to follow on this subbrand starting this era of real ‘personalized device’
Many people have asked me about the battery consumption on the XPERIA X1. Fair question I think, what is a user experience without power?
Sony Ericsson noted this from the beginning in the X1 development, and therefore we had a special project to work on a new battery. Project name: Hercules (and I think it’s evident where the name comes from).
The battery in the X1 is 1500mAh, which is a large battery.
This topic is very tricky, since he phone in itself has many great features, but they consume a lot of power (a-GPS, WiFi, a large screen etc etc). Nevertheless, this is a really important area and I would therefore like to raise it. I use the phone daily - a lot! - and I usually charge it over night.(Magnus)

I also think SE quality poor! I have k series and only 9 months old and alredy the screen flickers, inverts and dies. The phone operates without a screen! I am dissapointed that as consumers we pay alot of money for second grade products, made by big companies. Or that we even sign contracts on phones for which the contract is still being paid off but the phone nolonger works!

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970dvb-h no good in uk or hundreds of other countries and reports of it been intermittent and battery draining on the tiny 950mA battery is poor at best,,16 milliion colours is to blind people like you with science there is no difference with 65k and i have 16gb card ready to use in xperia which is ample for now..Xperia is using walkman software so that covers sound issues,,Most of n96 i have in my n82 and the n96 offers me no update at all and you will be taking your n96 back when you are pigsick of your poor battery..You are using opera to put your opinion on here with no name so are you timid???

hell yeah it's d phone i've waitin for. i recently using p1i before some bastard stole it, n' i think with double power than p1i, x1 gonna be rulin for the high end phone market.. hope d prize won't be to high haha..
well.. i wonder if sony ericsson has design d x2??

lmao at al u lil SE fans is xperia only phone that excites u lol wheres the 16GB flash drive or dvb-h tv or brilliant sound chips or 16million colours screen or keypad or or or u see where this is going the xperia is crap n lacks a pack of features that better company give n window is Crap with a capital C crap apps only good ones are stocks n buisness who the hell wants that other than a few buisness men dont waste your money on xperia trust n no way does this phone deserve 8.8 this last bit is for people who know about better phones Dont vote 1 , 1, 1 because gsmarena block ones vote 5 5 5 thats the lowest vote they accept for xperia

@Indonesian,,honestly tho my 21 inch tele was £89,,dvd recorder with built in video recorder £129,,freeview box £19,,washing machine £189,,xbox 360 £189...MY laptop has 2gb ram duo proccessor only 80 gig hardrive but cost £459 with 15inch screen but battery is 1hr 50 minutes so not that good i suppose,,the uk is getting cheaper

Just keep saying NO to HTC Touch Diamond. HTC Touch Pro, Samsung Omnia and iPhone 3G...
I hope sony would rock this time. I was a fan of P800 to P910... but P990 was a loser.

For indo girl/anyone, SE X1 will get another marketing tragedy, just like P1i if it is sold more than IDR 7 million. You can watch other PDA-Windows Mobile competitors. X1 may be sold more than IDR 7 M for the first week/month but SE will surely drop this price....so for the fan of SE, please wait unless you want to be the first.

Sony Ericsson confirmed that the Xperia X1 will definitely confirmed that it will come with 384 MB RAM and Spb will release a Spb Shell plug-in for the Xperia X1 panels but i cant tell you how and when Spb Shell for the Xperia X1 will be available yet but it exists.There will be opera 9.5 has flash lite support
Sony Ericsson declined to comment its partnership which HTC which, as a matter of fact, produces the Xperia X1 but also contributes some Windows Mobile enhancements like the streaming player and other utilities. And the X1 Camera and video recorder or playback quality is amazing and better than the others although it has the same resolution is VGA,SE concerned about it and there will be many features which will surprise you, i hope you will be glad and happy with it

the phones are even already arrived in shops, but it's look like that they are prohibited to sell it yet, even they are prohibited to display it to public.
