I never find nothing but HERE, in "opinions"...I think that if i will say that actually it is have 1 Gb ram, everybody will follow...Look at the Touch pro, HTC, which they r the masters of this jewel also, couldn't squeeze nothing more that 288MB from that ??!!??. If somebody know where something regard of this huge ram was announced, please post it. And other think, did u guys had noticed that in about 40% from reviews pictures this one has about 2 bars at reception ?? And YES, I know that they were prototypes but, I can tell u that the final product will b the same, since nobody said nothing in their reviews...I just hope I am wrong.

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970Well, omnia is a very good phone. But xperia is better. It has a screen resolution 4 times that of omnia. It has a d-pad + optical scroller while omnia only an optical scroller. A full keyboard + vga video @30fps + upto 32gb micro sd compatibility + 3.5mm jack + ati 3d accelerator + metal body + panels are some of xperia's advantages over omnia.

On paper this appears to be a formidable device but we will not know for sure until we use it!! There are some obvious shortfalls. For one, SE should have placed a lens cover on such a sophisticated device. After spending much money on a phone, it is always satisfying to know that the manufacturer cared enough to protect the lens.
Secondly, since SE decided on widescreen, why didn't they make it wider?? 3.8-4.0 inches would have been great. The upcoming HTC Touch HD has such a screen. The width of the web page would nicely fit on it. The Nokia E90 has the best hardware of all the business phones because of its superb widescreen and the tactile 5 row keypad.
I am delighted that SE were not stingy with the camcording: VGA at 30fps produces good results for a phone.
