hey those that keep posting message saying he got the the phone ready for sales and please contact bla bla....
please don't think people are stupid..A phone that has not been offically release yet, there is no way u can get a hand on it and sell to people.Even if u really have, do u think people will buy beta or alpha testing phone rather than wait for its offical release and get the stable ROM instead? so stop posting useless thing under most of the gsmarena's phone user opinion...

Anonymous, 18 Sep 2008why the hell 65k colors only??? unlike the other SE phones 256k!!! and nokia 16M colors???Don't worry about the 65K.

Windows Mobile 6 (and WeCE) supports pixel depths of 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 24, and 32 bpp. (Source: msdn.microsoft.com)

16bits = 65k colors, 18bit = 262k colors, 24bit = 16,7m colors.

So, WM doesn't directly support 18 bit colour depth (262k). Are we bothered? No.

The reason most WM phones use 65k is that converting the framebuffer takes CPU cyles. Using CPUs takes more power and costs more.

WM doesn't cap at 65k colors, the CPUs and cost-aspects do.

Lets be clear here, the screen is one of the finest ever produced thanks to the superb WVGA resolution.(65k WVGA display is FAR FAR sharper than a 16million colors QVGA display).

Hey, BTW, nothing wrong with my K850 pics, they come up fine (great for emergencies when I don't have my digicam), the only problem is when you hand it over to somebody else to take a photo, they always seem to stuff it up. How hard can it be?

Also don't worry about the price of the X1, you have had since Feb to save up :)

There are some fantastic phones on the market, but SE has never let me down, so I will wait patiently for the X1!

What I really wanted to say was the people that "hate WM" or say "anything but WM", should look to the C905, cause there's a good chance that these were the same people saying that the Xperia's camera sucks. On the other hand, the reason why I like the C905 better than the innov8 is cause it has a xenon flash. Plus, there doesn't seem to be a North American version for the innov8 which can use 3G, which is something I need. Granted, the innov8 has better video capabilities and disk space than the C905. I personally don't need the disk space, cause I'll be putting all my pictures on the computer. Plus, there's a good chance that the xenon flash will help take better pictures. Then again, everbody is not me so, it depends on the person to see if the C905 or innov8 is better for the way that they want to use it.

Other than that, i'd like to clarify that c905 is not symbian. If any one wants an ultimate imaging phone, its samsung innov8. Xperia is the best convergence phone as it has a dsp for music, ati graphic accelerator for gaming and high quality video and all features of an ideal professional phone.

People that are still crying about the camera and its specs, get over it!!! The Xperia is not a phone focused on its camera. If the camera is so important, wait for the C905. To the same people b1tch1ng about WM, get the C905, it has symbian and and an 8MP camera. Me on the other hand, am getting both, cause there is no such thing as the perfect phone yet!! It all depends on what you need to use the phone for, and the Xperia is definately not a phone you would buy for its camera.

But there is one thing, you will not be able to use UMTS if that was you intencion. DIOfferent frequencies in US than in EU, or maybe check you operatro, i heard one is actualy having EU and US frequencies in America.

Does anyone know if the non-American model which is being released first will have full compatibility and functionality in the United States? Is there any reason to wait for the US version other than the possibility of newer firmware?

Nope, it's not alright. Every chance you get you trash Sony and say every other phone is better. Hell you don't know, you have not tried half of the phones that you claim are so much better, and untill you do, your word is no better then the spec's on here. So get over yourself. Your like a little dog that barks all the time, and say's nothing worth responding to.

i think i will buy this phone because this phone is the one use active panel system with arc slider design and i can download many active panels in SE website continuely so i never get boring with X1 then i can add many applications in a panel. Each panel has differ catagory, Developer, design ect.X1 has 256MB RAM but i heard from X1 webcase presentation it will be 384MB RAM or something so you can imangine how fast x1 is..with WVGA resolution quality can help VGA video, camera picture, browsing to be more effective, sharper and clean...

i believe that HTC will release many phones soon after HTC touch HD and still use 3D touch floo or better OS so why i should buy HTC HD...X1 active panels is unique and iam not sure SE will use the system again so i will buy x1 first

Anonymous, 19 Sep 2008So now HTC is better than Nokia and Sony? LOL!! Make up your mind.no, nokia always seem to have the superior photo quality and i can probably saftely say that the touch HD's camera wont be as good as the one on my N95.

im very pro-nokia, but im perfectly willing to accept a good phone from another manufacturer! samsung's i850 is amazing and i really like the touch HD!

is that okay with you!

or must i only like nokias!

in the x1 presentation, magnus used his old x1 device and unwired use X1 with 128 MB RAM and the latest ROM software.

it means nobody know x1 final product ability look with 256MB RAM or 384MB RAM...
