and because of this the phone was delayed. i still think it will be released in october and will probably have windows 7.0 on it.

was in carphone warehouse store today and was jus looking at the x1 on the iphone. this dude next to me, saw that i was checking the x1 and started talking about the x1 to me. he said that release date will be in january. i told him i work for o2 and we gonna launch it in october. he said that only SE shop in london will have the x1.he was on about sony wanted to upgrade windows to 7.0 rather then the original 6.1...

Oh yes I bought this SONY walkman and on the rear end it give special info. that it also complies with Canadian law :-) hehehe there is nothing about rest of the world but the damn Canadian

Sony releases SDK for Xperia X1
The release date may be wavering (October, December, January, October) but at least when it comes out there will (presumably) be cool applications for it. Sony Ericsson has loosed the SDK for its upcoming Xperia X1 into the adoring hands of developers. Of course the xPeria runs Windows Mobile 6.1, for which there is already an SDK and a plethora of applications, but Sony's SDK will allow users to tap into their panel interface that sits atop WM.
Those brave enough to watch a video of perhaps the most boring person alive can do so here.

X1 and N96 announced about the same time and N96 is started shipping. I hope X1 will be out soon.
