I have a question. If I have a wireless modem in my house, can you use the Wi-Fi on the X1 to connect to the internet through my wireless modem? I have my Nintendo Wii, and my son's PC connected wireless to the internet through the wireless modem, Just wondering if this would work the same way at home, and seeing that the small town I live in has about 3 Wi-Fi spots.
:-)

Infact search pdadb.net for devices with tv tuner and you will find 5year old WM ppc's with that included. The dvb-h tuner on n96 is useless far better with the dvb-t sported on some eten devices

Yep even simple tasks such as copy and paste is chore using n-series.N96 has about 40percent of the functionality of Xperia x1.As for the tv-tuner..well that's not nothing new with many many WM ppc's having that feature

Remember the p910 the professional tool that easily out preformed nokia's,samsungs, moto's and so on It's been so long since SE had a device that beat all-comers but here it is The xperia x1 is the crème de la crème in the cellphone market

it looks awesome ! I got the W960 since a few months and I'm pretty happy with it, but I am already starting to plot how to get my hands on this one, as soon as it's released ;) Only, what is up with the 512MB storage memory ?! In comparison with what I got now - 8Gb - it feels a little less than what it should be.

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970Most likely AT&T. They showed it in action and one of the panels had the AT&T logo. Also saw a video of it where a guy was answering questions about it and he said that the phone was running on AT&T service for the demo.

This phone looks slightly odd in comparison to SE's normal designs...Kinda like Nokia's new S60, replacement of iphone. Its too long which makes it look more like ipods and stuff instead of a phone.
