Ian Rush, 11 Jul 2008ok i´ve been googling and reading different blogs, forum and other stuffs. And it seems that i... moreim starting to give up!!
NEVER .. this phone will not hit the market
i hope i'm lying
ok i´ve been googling and reading different blogs, forum and other stuffs. And it seems that its a bit confusing about the realease date of the xperia. One rumour says the realease is in the mid of september or late of 2008, and another says realease is in feb 2009. So does anyone know the exactly date of the realease?
when the exact date will it be released in the public. i like this phone. camera should be 5MP. im excited for it!!

So how is it that the HTC Diamond Touch Pro has the exact same features with worse battery life, 1 less 3G compatible frequency band, and less memory, yet its feature rating is 8.7 and the Xperia's is 8.6? Sounds like some people just don't like SE...
Usually the phones that take too long to be released have software bugs that can't be fixed by manufacturer, drivers’ problems with audio and video, electrical power leaks, overheating troubles. This phone and Omnia are wonderful in specs but research the history of phones based on Qualcomm and Windows Mobile. Most of funs bought them for hobby purposes, to have a smart microcomputer in pocket not for a reliable way of voice communication in business, who wants a reboot during a business call or a frozen screen when you want to make a call to 911? All present WM phones have big driver problems and lack of enough power (processing and electrical) and cheap toy quality cases. The only chance a WM to be “almost” reliable will be when all its drivers will be made by Microsoft programmers and hardware to be certified by Microsoft labs.
Handandgo the loose lipped content provider have said september 2008.Obviously handandgo have to know when a device will hit the shelves.Xperia X1 supports memory cards up to and including 32GB btw
it was a mistake on the SE blogs about the 10/2/2009 date release..there was a spokeman from SE that said it was a mistake and they are still planning on releasing the Xperia sometime this year...its just to some other region first..
Xperia X1 Delayed Till 2009?
the guys at Sony Ericsson Blog have spotted an official Sony Ericsson webpage showing the expected release date as 10/02/2009.
Considering Sony Ericsson Blog are as reliable as a really reliable source, and that they have pointed us in the direction of an official webpage backing their claim, this looks to be solid.
hey, some body know about the memory capability? It says about the internal memory and it uses a micro sd card but, how big can the micro sd card be? 4GB?...8GB?
nick, 10 Jul 2008i liked the way he phrased that :D
I'd buy it if it had a higher megapixel count.
SE cam... morewhy the heck does anyone rant about MP? what's the use of a 5 MP sensor if the lenses in front of it doesn't keep up with the quality.
just look at the HTC Diamond. the fotos get extremely blurred as long as the backcover is on the phone. a decent 2 MP camera with matching optics would produce much more usable pics.
apart from that i highly doubt, that a lot of people print the fotos of the mobiles, so they don't need the resolution anyway...
