i think the i phone is great.
in field of UI there is no match for i phone,
xperia ia a only dumy of i phone.
i saw a lot of video on 'yuotube'for xperia,
i notice the xperia is a slow mobile.
i am a nokia lover but tru is tru.
the i phone is the king of new mobile world.

I did say just that all along. Just look at the HTC lineup/specs etc. They even keep the by now HTC camera standard of 3.2MP - the thing is, no one believed me :( That will pour some cold water on a few SE fans :) Nevertheless HTC is nice all by itself. I doubt they will sell more devices just because of the SE logo. Last year rumor was, SE wanted to put their logo on a N95 look alike and share profits. Nokia promptly declined the offer. I hope HTC won't be sorry by going with SE on this one.

                  Hi !
I have a K800i with 256K colors and i had a 7390 with 16M colors, i can say that there is no difference. Not even if you put the picture on the computer.
So Sonny Ericsson go on, do your best for us!!!!

To solve the screen color issue i think theyll make 2 seperate color options. Say when you tap the windows gallery( from the 9 options) the phone will display 65k. And when you select the anything else from the gallery it will be in 262k :)

I love Xperia x1 so much because :

                      1. it has better proccesor rather than Nokia 95, 96 and E90
                      2. better battery life
                      3. it has three ways to operation the phone (QWERTY,Touch screen and Joystic) so it gives you an experience to feel or enjoy them, i mean if you'r bored using qwert keypad so u can use touch screen or joystic and u needn't buy 2 phone to feel those ways.also it gives developers a free space or flexiblelity for making application by combination those ways, in other word you can enjoy things what nokia phone cant do.

                      4. you thing sysmbian can beat microsoft (billgate). are you kidding ? I love windows mobile because more flexible.
                      5. it has WVGA (800x480)so it can make video (VGA) and picture be more crisp, clean and sharp rather than 16M color screen and VGA VIDEO at qvga resolution.Theoritically 16M color is bigger then 256 or 56kb color but in fact u cant realize what is different between 16 M color and 56kb color on 3 inches screen at WVGA by your eyes.

you think Nokia VGA movies/playback/recorded at QVGA resolution as good as Xperia x1 at WVGA resolution screen. You'r stupid!!

You think 16M color at QVGA screen better than 56kb color at QWGA.

You can see better picture at wvga than qvga.Sony ericsson is smart and effective!!!!

Nokia has powerful hardware or software but u cant enjoy those devices effectively. they'r useless devices and wasting money.

this phone is really amazing has good features... and what's the difference about 16m to 65k can we eat this if this phone has 16million color and the important is it has good features with good design and it has simple and easy to browse using this phone not like NOKIA...

Why would anyone want high speed CSD?Dial up is very old technology and even high speed dial up is very slow.Web browsing on a WVGA resolution device needs a fast internet connection.

Am I reading this wrong or did SE really decide not to give it a high speed CSD connection ! ! ! W.T.F. And how many hours will it work on a full charge with a 500+mhz processor and a 3in screen with so many pixel to lit up and control? It may beat my laptop, not by much thou. I ain't so sure if I should regard this as a true cell or not.

If people are stupid enough to believe their's a notable difference between 65k and 16million colors on a screen no bigger than 3inches then surely the Xperia X1 is not the sort of device for them.

It's hardly just some web publication.Read the article and if you are still unconvinced download the computer App so you can compare, now on a 3inch screen the differences would be negligible. As has been stated numerous times it's the screen resolution that's of vital importance but if your happy with the pathetic QVGA resolution seen on the N-Series so be it.

No SE didnt think before building this phone, windows mobile 6.1 only support 65K colors! What a big mistake, there's a huge difference between 65K to 256K and 256K to 16 millions...

With no xenon flash, no TV out and an expensive price of $899USD this phone will not be easy to sell!
