Hey guys, I'm wondering if the phone is even out yet...in Europe that is...because I saw a comment from a user around March 12th. He stated that he has 20 units. What do you guys think?
Nokia know marketing.16million colours on a poor resolution display seems to please their customers..says it all really!!!
I too have an interest in photography, please understand It's not just the resolution of the sensor that determines the final image quality look at the optics, the colour management, the technology in the image-processing engines.Camera/phones image sensors haven't got significantly larger from one generation to the next,so squeezing more megapixels out of a sensor means each pixel on the sensor is smaller. In most of the chip business, smaller electronics is the name of the game but with cameras, they translate to less light per pixel. That light difference means it's harder to distinguish the signals produced by light from the electronic noise in the sensor. The idea of making the signal-to-noise ratio worse may sound pretty technical, but possible consequences are easily understood-Images suffer from colour speckles, and cameras work poorly in dimmer conditions such as indoors. If you try to cram more pixels into the same amount of space, you get signal degradation because you're not getting as much light into the same pixel.Sony Ericcson's 3.2MP camera will be more than a match for Nokia's 5MP.
because windows mobile support only 65K colors but i think the resulotion covers that =)
without a question this phone is gonna be really hot, amazing design n features, but whats bothering me is that the display is 65K colors, 65K? for god's sake.... when everyhting was going perfect for this phone then y is the colours so low? SE ur perfect but r u trying to go a step backwards? almost all the new SE phone is 256K.
This phone is cool. Cant wait for it to launch. Unlike Nokia be it N95 or other model. Hang whole day whole night. Those who enjoy hanging, please proceed to Nokia.
Symbian as of now doen not have Flash 3 support, while WM 6.1 and i think 6.0 too has built in. I can watch youtube videos (full not the mobile version) on my Nokia E90 with special program, but not with browser. What botters me also is no network support in symbian, can't even see my shared files when i am home. X1 will have all that :P
what can i say to this phone, looks so cool, the most coolest pda phone i ever saw as of now. and already has WM 6.1 already. i hope the price is not to expensive, so to all tytn II user better try this out. :)
For me the most important is pricing....
if its like a hell than forget it...
hope soner can consider it...
I have the nokia E90 and its the best
BUT I think this will be better and I am sure I will uy this one too
As a photography enthusiast
(as well as a gadget freak!),I have indulged in my fair share of technology lust, spending more than a bit of my discretionary income on digital cameras. What I have discovered over time is that megapixel ratings often have little to do with image quality. The newer model digital cameras do not always match older models in image quality.Yet,marketers are bent on convincing us that we can never have enough megapixels.Nokia,Sumsung
,LG even SE are relying on consumers lack of experience/knowledge.
its gonna replace my helio ocean this is a must get kils off iphone side kick anything that comes to my mind
TCPMP is not the same as CorePlayer. One is freeware the other is not.CorePlayer for WM has youtube function embedded in the application.
Hey wait a minute!Anyone with any experience of photography will know high megapixel camera's with small sensors will not produce top quality snaps.Cell Manufacturers need to concentrate on better sensors.Unfornutely people automatically think megapixel is everything, believe me it certainly is not.
Bw@e, you said the Core Player for WM can open Youtube videos (full version) whereas the Symbian version cannot. Are you referring to TCPMP (The Core Pocket Media Player)? Have you tried it on CNN video sites?
Concerning 3.2 vs 5MP cameras: 5MP is not only better for enlarged photos. Even if the prints from both cameras are both regular 7"*5" the 5MP camera will produce a sharper image because the sensor has more pixels and therefore captures more detail.
Wow, first in the mobile phone world .... TFT touchscreen, with 800 x 480 pixels!!!
Finally, after a long time sony ericsson has made a phone which has raised the bar for stylish smartphones. The next closest thing is the o2 XDA phones which fell too bulky and not good to look at. I am definatley getting this.
3.15MP Camera is more than sufficient unless you wanted to print very large photo's.How many people print LARGE pics taken with a camera phone? The Megapixel race is full of hype and marketing
