Good info brynn. Also keep in mind upload speeds are also very important for video calling, VOIP, ect because you are streaming audio/video out from your device which needs much mandwidth. With a 528mhz proc and hsupa, apps like skype should work well.
Re HSUPA.A French network supports the service and French TyTN II users have confirmed HSUPA is incorporated in the TyTN II.
yes, I agree with you. Nice phone, i will get it when it appers
I am from portugal
hsdpa is your download speed hence the d
hsupa is your upload speed hence H i.e. if your saving a picture to your blog the faster the upload speed the faster your pic will upload
In general upload speeds are slower because most time you are just entering a simple address and uploading it to the web which is only a few kbytes but dowloading that webpage including pics is usually mbytes so usually upload speeds were not important,,however, now we are bloging and uploading pics and vids to web they are increasing upload speeds so its quicker to save to your blog...
hsdpa=high speed DOWNLOAD/DOWNLINK packet access
hsupa=high speed UPLINK packet access
The download speeds are as follows,,,
csd or circuit switch data 9600 bits/second
gprs or general packet radio service 32-48kb/second,,
3g or third generation=384 kb/second
hsdpa or high speed downlink packet access is going up bit by bit but starts at 1.8 mb /second then 3.6 mb/second then 7.2 mb/second then full blast in 2009 at 14.4 mb/second but that will be rare as it will be limited to handsets that can take that speed..
hsupa or high speed uplink/upload packet access not sure but will get faster as time goes on and not many handsets have it yet ,if any..
ITS a shame this mobile monster is far from release
you can check official site and also the ... video... nothing great about the video though...
just anxious about price n the battery life... n accessories :D
On Esato someone explain that the price will be around 875 US Dollars or around 675 Euros.
some thing is coming in my 6sence that the price will be very high.
if the price will be high the mobile will fail..
donot worry it my thinking..
i liked the phone...
Sorry that im late to answer your question!!
HSDPA has got 3.6 Mbps
HSUPA has got 7.2 Mbps
So HSUPA transport data and pages much faster
But i dont know either so much about it, maybe im wrong.
But ya can find everything on Wikipedia
it's the best of the best ... however, i have to wait 6 months or more for it :S:S:S i think i'll get an iPhone until it comes out :S , if it's at a reasonable price, i'll sell the iphone and get it
im running a 6.1 cust0m r0m 0n my tytn 2 & it d0nt have that BUT there are .cab files/players that "all0w" u t0 watch c0ntent fr0m streaming websites such as y0utube.c0m 0n ALL wind0ws m0bile devices INCLUDING this 0ne!!!
hello, does someone know if WM6.1 will have flash 3 or silverlight or something like that to play internet videos???!!!
To the experts, could u explain the diff. between HSDPA '& HSUPA i heard both are available in X1.
an excellent and best quality among all company. Sony Ericsson my passion
Xpert, can you be more spacific on where the video is. or give a direct link.
It's the RESOLUTION that gives a clear crisp image, video, chart etc on a screen.Xperia X1 has the highest resolution screen on the market in contrast to mobiles like the n81,82,95,96 which all sport the very basic QVGA screens.Multimedia phones with QVGA screens are a standing joke!
A (probably) leaked video of X1 with interesting OS functions fully working, here:
in the "comments". Now tell me Symbian can do anything like this!
i hear you mate but then still with all ongoing resolution how come its stepping backwars instead. atleast it could be 256k. but 65 k... i had panasonic gd87(still have thou i dont use it) is the best 65k screen i have ever used but then still i wonder instead of going 16m 65k is rather dumb idea i'd think if not for planning to save the battery consumption. i had watched nokia 6300's 16m resolution.. i find it amazing havent seen n95 yet but 6300 is superb no doubt about 16m is better than 256k but then well i havent seen all the world now have I? :D cheers mate.
actually, its enough for as long as the image is clear and crisp.
unless someone would print a picture for a BIG poster, any camera phones which have a MP higher than 3.2 would really be useless.
