this awasome phone that i ever see that sonyericsson made have all the feutures that amaze me to the specific factor and i very proud to buy this kind of phone that have radio antena to receive a signal from the radio station and i love the shake control of this phone when you tried to shake its automatically move the song and the clamshell style of this phone its perfect to fashion the teens to offortunate the reality of life the color of the was great it atract the eyes of the people to buy this kind of a wonderfull phone.

Amazin Isnt it ,look at this piece ,it has almost everything that u need ,would luv to owe one by june'08.If its an year then forget it. Somebody shud wake SE and let them know that they need to lauch this pone much early.Any particular site where opinions reach SE directly ????

May I congratulate Nokia's N95 for being the first phone on GSM Arena to achieve 500 pages of users' opinions. It was announced in September 2006 and has kept the public's fascination. SE's X1 looks promising but ONLY if they can release the phone in the near future ie within three months; otherwise people will lose enthusiasm and buy other phones.

Any company that is contemplating building their own Xperia should take into account: branding; design and multifeatures. Look Eten and Toshiba have high res models in the offing but they have failed to excite the public. I tell you if Nokia, Samsung, Motorola or SonyEricsson build an Xperia there will be a wealth of enthusiasm. The slide-out design with the tilting screen is another winner. Multifeatures such as touchscreen, a flexible OS such as WM, high res screen, VGA 30fps camcording attract like a magnet. The question: is there a company competent enough to amalgamate all there features into a reliable phone??

SE's official website is talking about delays till next year?? Really there should be a rule that a company cannot announce a phone unless they are willing to release it within 90 days of announcing it. This will prevent the hazard of concept phones being paraded as production models and massive delays between announcing and releasing a phone. The delay was posted on SE's official website so it should be taken seriously. The mantle of leadership now falls on i-mate's Ultimate 9502. The question is can they release it in the near future? One fact that SE X1 proves is that there is a hungry market for an all-in-one QWERTY based WM high res phone. Other companies should take note and build their own Xperias. It is a compelling challenge.

If i look for example at Nokie E90, which was also luched on Februar it came to store in June /July, and i expect the same with this one. Comming soon status is ALWAYS announced half a year or less before relase.

for people who refer to that site which shows the release date of the x1 being a year later. It wouldn't be surprising that SE will end up launching it a year later (though it'll become a piece of junk unless price is low on launch date) like the p990i. I too suffered the problems with that issue, waited for so long, phone was disappointing and, 50% price drop within a year. but back to the point here, it will be extramly stupid for se do clain launch date being q3 of this year and change that thought shortly after. personally i think q3 is already too slow. if this all falls into play, Se may have fallen waaaaay behind.

This phone has to be available before June 2008, come on, i don't believe those rumors! SE will not announced a cellphone and sell them a year after, no way! Like someone said: this phone will be history by that time!!!
