everyone's attention is on this handset. i don't blame you guys, because...it is a thing of a beauty. the most anticipated phone of the year. and the N96?...NOT!

WOW..AMAZING PHONE....64.000 color is doesn't matter with very high resolution ever (800 x 400 ), it will save the battery life. Wi fi b/g ( fantastic SE ), full querty keyboard, sliding, absolutely great camera and video recording for 30 fps, rock design, OMG. Love this phone ever.., SE Phone has number one quality for music and camera. I Think this year belong to Sony Ericsson with many amazing product. But Nokia is not bad....i,m Nokia big fan...but also adore Sony Ericsson. Come On Nokia..where is u r Super B ? give more fresh idea...! final word...i'll save my money for this DREAM Phone. Hope not really expensive.

i heard that the price is around 250$ . what is your idea about it ? is the price good & logical ?
i am sure that i will buy it . with an extra 4 or 8 gig ram . absolotly it is better than iphone .

It's time to Xperience the power of XPERIA X1. This is a big leap for SE. It's their first mobile phone to have Windows Mobile as its OS. Though the sliding mechanism with full QWERTY keyboard is not new and innovative, being a mere copy of some HTC phones, X1 will definitely open horizons for SE fans who are not that accustomed with WM as an OS.

First of all I want to make it clear I'm not rock or any other imbecile who has submitted crazy posts using the opera mini ip.Now,why do you guys want exceptionally large internal memory chips?All music,data etc can be stored on the memory card without any noticable slowdown.I do know that some browsers will only let you download a file that dosen't exceed internal memory but still in the XPERIA's case that file could be 400MB and in any case Opera Mobile or Netfront bypass downloading limitations.Memory cards seem to make more sense,eg easy to transfer file to pc's via Card reader hot swapable and so on.SE has made some sensible ,intelligent decisions

the specs here in gsmarena says:
SECONDARY VIDEO CALL. But i can't see a front facing camera in the diagram. How true is it??
Also, other sources didn't mention VGA 30fps Video recording :(

Steve is against WM because he simply is unaware of it's capabilities.I suggest people take a look at xda-developers.com and see what is possible with a WM device.Most of the members over there are Professionals you know Lawyers,doctors,Software developers,technicians and so on..such a contrast to the calibre of member you find on symbian sites!
