i have a SE K850i and well i like the camera and on the whole I LOVE SE!!! but i wanna see a 5mp camera so i could buy the xperia!!! as we can see all phones are fast becoming 5mp regardless of business or entertainment! This phone is really nice and i am in reasonable contemplation of buying it! cant wait till its release!

Finally someone is building a decent phone with WM6... It would be nice to know the CPU and the amount of RAM but if those two are like the rest of the specs it beats everything nowadays on the market. ...it has all the features and it can be carried in the pocket...nice

One doesn't really know what this phone is trying to be. Is it an all in one or a business phone? It cannot strictly be a business phone otherwise camcording at VGA;30fps would not be there. In my opinion it leans toward an all in one. Therefore SE should have included Xenon flash and a 5MP cam. Never mind those backward people who say a phone does not need a 5MP cam; this is no longer a phone. It is a multifunctional mobile device with telephony capability. Therefore improvements in the camera are welcome. If the detractors had their way we would still have VGA cameras os only 1.3MP on our mobiles. There should be two types of phone mfd(multifunctional device): those with QWERTY but strictly for business and those with QWERTY but geared towards lifestyle and multimedia.

i love the look of this phone, i have a SE w810i atm and its great never missed a beat and it takes a pounding aswell. i just really want to find out the release date for australia. another thing is i havnt had a windows OS since my imate jamin, has the software changed much or is it really just faster? does anyone know any release dates at all ?

There is no mention of the P5i Smartphone from Sony Ericsson at the Mobile World Congress.It looks like the Symbian OS has been replaced with Windows Mobile 6.
The XPERIA X1 looks like their next Smartphone.It's a shame SE have gone for WM6.

That's true.If you want to play games other than stratedy,chess then WM is not great although other entertainment is quite good as in you can install flashplayer 7 and play youtube straight through opera 8.65,you can stream a heck of an amount content through TCPMP or WM player infact Media applications for windows are quite advanced
