This is an excellent phone. The touchscreen, the QWERTY keyboard, the stainless-steel design, the 3.5MM headphone jack (first SE phone to have one!)and a 520Mhz processor, 400 MB built-in memory and up to 8GB expandable with SD cards-this phone is really amazing!
it has windows os, its like symbian os, se fanboy at n82 review said symbian is like windows = UNRELIABLE
I've been reading the XPERIA X1 will use the Qualcomm chipset.HTC left out driver support on the TyTN II but X1 will be fully supported :)check the white paper on the Qualcomm chip-It's one serious piece of kit.
Why does it say here that it has microSD support???
On the Sony Ericsson website it says that it has Sandisk Memory Stick Micro, which is the M2 card.
Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 vs. Samsung I900 (if it releases, or it even is real lol)
QVGA screens are useless.A VGA screen shows 4x as much detail and really any phone that wants to be considered high spec must have this
MicroSD card??? they sure they are not mistaking it for the Memory Stick Micro (M2)?
be cool to have microSD, those cards are easy to find and are cheaper
N96 is a total let down it has the same crappy Symbian os,USELESS screen-it's a QVGA display haven't nokia heard of decent displays on the NONSENSE Series!!lol, bland look, low build quality in contrast with the superb XPERIA.WM6 professional really says it all-we will be using ADVANCED applications that actually function to a professional degree unlike those stupid silly half assed s60 apps.Nokia and Symbian s60 know their target market don't have the faintest idea of what a REAL OS is capable of doing.
m0ti0n-sens0r + wm6??? damn thats H0TTT! ^_^
did u even READ ur LAST P0ST!?? ur funny, h0mes!
520mhz vs n96's wut?(it d0nt even make a diff), t0uchscreen vs n0n? WM6 vs symbian? QUADBAND 3G vs DUAL??? l0l! ur 0ne funny CAT!!!
3.5mm jack is in the news' reviews page, read up, br0!
& t0 tha dudes askin' whether 0r n0t this is capable 0f recharging itself via usb - HTC is "rum0red" t0 have helped manufacture this baby and ALL htc devices can be charged via usb. this 0ne sh0uldnt b any different.
this fone comes no where near the just announced N96 and samsung g810. and tell you im no samsung or nokia fan.
This fone is simply overrated by se fan boys.
But still, A thumbs up for HTC, who entirely built this phone. HAHAHAH LOL
i think the information is not reliable, i doubt the GPS function on this babe
j.c. where do you see in the specs that it has a 3.5mm jack? I do not see it on the official website.
Finally SonyEricsson make the PHONE that i like.I wonder how much is this Toy COST?
this is the type of phone i have been waiting..its going to feel like forever until i can hopefully get one of these..it has everything i want...full QWERTY,touchscreen,3.5mm jack, wifi, bluetooth
,nice form,great desings..congrats sony.
This is fantastic news!SE step up to the plate with a super handset running WM6 Professional while Nokia continue to impress the KIDS with s60.Men and boys springs to mind.
To comment on my post below it seems like if it does indeed have a microUSB port; you got me there Sony. But can it charge?
Let me say this again:
The phone takes MEMORY STICK MICRO not MicroSD
Up to 400 MB Phone Memory
Memory Stick SanDisk Micro™ support
Actual free memory may vary due to phone pre-configuration"
Sony would never do something as sensible as put Secure Digital (SD), a miniUSB/microUSB port, and/or a 3.5mm jack in a phone.
