Actually it's not the OS that is hanging up on the display, it's the chipset.......

I wonder, how the screen is going to work, is it using a stylus, or using touch`s sensor(ipod like)
        .
Since in the pictures, the screen is covered in fingerprint. I hope i can adapt the screen from the ipod which using a harded glass ^^ more prone to broken screen ^^ n nicer look.

I wish they can change it in this few months time hauhaua...then it will be the best!!!

so this is SE's newest hit. NO offense but this phone doesnt have much break through, there are lots of phones out there with similar spec, although this phone looks ten times better. and the UI is probably better (?)
i hope Nokia will pull out something more impressive

it dosn't matter if it has 65k colors ...you wont be abble to see the difference (maybe just if you have a extremly good eye (between 256k and ...mil colors at this sizes you arent abble to tell the difference evan if you look for an hour at the screen)
in any case this will probably be the best poket pc (or smarphone) considering the size and the specs(it's better then the htc tynt II)

To Thiru: WM6 is limited with 65K display support only. You will have 65K or WM6, not both.

finally news from months ago are coming true. SE is going into WM6. which is great since they're more into the multi media. Moreover, its great that this phone will be supporting SD cards since this should be a booming year with high storage memory on SD cards coming close with 16gb and maybe 32gb. However, I believe it would have been better if they stuck with they're own MS cards, though they are really limited on how much the phone itself can handle and over priced. I read somewhere stating that this phone will have amazing video features so even if it states that it is 62k colour i am sure SE will not disappoint us wit that part. keypad looks promising. i'll have to say, all that it's missing is tv output. Since they changed so many of their traditions, might as well make an universal tv out port. Then that'll be THE mutiMedia phone of this time.

Its great features, but why 65k color screen? should have been 256k at least. Great move to adopt Windows Mobile instead of symbian as ussual. Hope the price is good.

Stop complaining about Windows Mobile 6.1! At least it supports 3rd part applications, wihch the iphone's OS can't do. When Windows Mobile 7 comes out, there will be an available upgrade/firmware. This phone is so hot!

                                what the!!!
                                only a 65k color screen.
still, it looks like a beauty.
                                however,
knowing se we will all be in a nursing home by the time se bothers to release this one.

Why are people complaining about the 400 MB of internal memory. It supports Micro SD up to 32 GB! That is amazing.

It also has a 3.5 MM headphone jack, which is rare for SE phones!!!

To answer people's questions- the processor is 520 Mhz and this phone accepts Micro SD only and has 400 MB of internal memory.
By the way, this phone has a 3.5 MM headphone jack, which is very rare for SOny Ericsson! This phone simply rocks!

looks like a great phone. I was waiting all the time for a SE GPS phone. Too bad this is not the one. SE website doesn't say anything about built-in GPS. You can get the GPS Enabler HGE-100, but that's another story.
