bought my first x1 on feb '09. it was good until, i realized the speaker is worthless!! ringtones is not loud enough to hear a phone call. speaker phone is impossible outdoors or in the mall or in the car driving. battery and speaker area gets hot when on the phone for long periods of time. Now (sep 09) my screen when opened (to use keyboard) dies, it just blacks out. i have to close it and press the power button couple times in order to get the screen back.(i already got RMA to send phone back to SE).
the good part is, very fast and is good with battery love the panels!!!.

It's not a Laptop to have Windows 7 on it baby!
Phones have different serie of Windows that has no relation to PC Windowses.
the newest Windows for mobile-phones is Windows 6.5 that X1 can Support it well.

there you can set your text messages service center
