i just got a new xperia and facing a strange problem. If some contact is saved in my contact list and i recieve sms from him. The window open showing the following thing
From: (Test messages)
To: "John" >
And when i type the message and press send option , i get the following message
Cannot Recognize one ore more recipients or the address is not valid. would you like to send the message anyway?
Yes NO
When i press Yes, i can see the message remain there in the Outbox folder, but cannot send it, I am really irritated due to this problem, need some solution to it?
One more thing i need to ask, where is the option in xperia, to see the message center number and details for SMS Settings...

Anonymous, 12 Sep 2009i have this phone now for 3 months & getting no joy, have to charge the battery every day! ... moreNo it's not. My phone lasts for about 5 days, even more maybe, can't remember. I don't use it all the time though. I mean, I don't text much or call much. Maybe that's why my phone has a long battery life. Do you use like all the time? If you do, maybe that's a possible reason. But I'm not sure.

Can someone please explain to me something about the CDF information. According to the developers pages, my CDF info for Australia is as follows.
X1i GENERIC_AUS CDF1223-8642
1225-8926 3 AU.......
Now On my phone I have the 1223-8642 as my customisation id, but can you explain what the other number is used for "1225-8926 3 AU" I am with 3 Australia but that number is not on the device info, what is it for?

if you use the phone all day including gps , wifi and 3g on, it will last just one day but if you just using it for call , sms and game it will work for two days.
it was for a very busy day but for a normal use it will work three to four days.

Hi Guys, the SPB Traveler panel doesn't have Cape Town, South Africa as an option. Does anybody know how to 'load' Cape Town. Cape Town is GMT +2 in South Africa. Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.

mb220 ,beter design and good look and very beter keybord, capacitive screen ,512mb rom,beter java application ,best price in these three, full features
x1 , is first good winmo6.5 but features is not complate , beter camera at this group
n900 , meamo is unknown ,stereo speaker,led flash ,battery weak for this set , too heavy , full features

with beter features and performance and even beter price !!??
and beter lo... morethe operating system of x1 is windows mobile but mb220 is android so the are not comparable
x1 has 800x480 pixels but mb220 is 480x320 it is very different in picture quality
and the most important is that mb220 is coming soon and whenever it becomes available it is very expensive at first monthes
and finally i prefer sonyericsson to motorola

hey i just need to know about its performance in sunlight.can u see anything outside. thats really important to me
i used to have w950 I barely saw things outside but my n82 shows every details at anyplace even with sunglasses
