Who cares about these brand wars? I had an N80 and then N95. N95 was a great phone.
I haven't had SE since my K700, but fact is the X10 really appeals to me. At the moment, nothing from Nokia interests me at all.
Now, some time in the future that could change of course.
But what matters is NOW. And now X10 wins. Only other phone I'd consider is Desire but my 2 previous phones have been HTC and the audio quality and reception on both were poor.
good work guys!! byt can you please pick a name for yourself?! it's too hard to work just with IPs :)
now, about the picture quality of SE, i must say that it's really great and dont think for a second that a 5mp nokia can cach up with a 5mp of SE! SE doesn't need carl zeiss lens to have a good quality, because they have Sony to make nice lenses for them. and sony's lenses are really good!
and somebody saies that SE is 10,000 miles behind the nokia!! can i ask you at what?! camera? OS? interface? design?! nokia is a bit ahead of SE in term of the quality and maybe in some other little things!! thats all ( in my opinion )
and also i must mention that no os is gonna die! every os has it's own usage and feature and interface! i like this cuz i need this one's features, you like that!! got it?
and at last we are not enemy of each other here, so please try to be nice.
thank you and have a pleasant time here myfriends :)
Symbian has been around for a few years and has already proved itself.
These new OS have yet to do that.
Anonymous, 27 Feb 2010Seems like theres Nokia & SE war down here... To each is his own...And theres no war here since the other side isnt even worth to consider as an opponent. Have a good nite too.
Anonymous, 27 Feb 2010Oh... got nothin' else to say, huh? So now your just passin'. And 10 years from now? Even the ... moreEven you said it yourself..surveys...you know anything about biases? Im sorry but you're being too subjective. No one can takeover another just by "survey". I can prove this to you. You're saying that symbian is going to die, but yet you promoto SE VIVAZ which runs on Symbian. So at this point you're contradicting yourself. Sorry son, you should better back your statements before posting and remember dont get subjective. Use the 'facts'. Nitez. Aint comming back.

And 10 years from now? Even the new surveys have showed that Android could take most of all smartphones just by 2012-2013. So BYE nokia!
Seems like theres Nokia & SE war down here...
To each is his own...

Theres no bluetooth on my HTC hero...and waiting for an update would take ages....Though you may have a point in that 5.5% drop...but i wont waste my time in arguing with you since theres no point in doing so. Only time will prove whoevers right or wrong...lets see 10 years from now...what would happen to this mobile tech. Nitez im out.
Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970Sorry dude, but check out this review of Sony's Vivaz:
Sony Ericsson Vivaz produces splendid photos. The colors are vibrant and rich (too bad we don't have the weather to prove it), the amount of resolved detail is very good and the noise levels are low.
There is no over sharpening or purple fringing. Had the amount of resolved detail and contrast been just a tad more, we surely would've called it the ultimate camera on a phone.
See that? "Ultimate camera on the phone". This totally shows Sony Ericsson has made the most awesome cameras ever. Just wait 'till these phones come out.
Anonymous, 27 Feb 2010Ha. Nice try. But it wont get me sorry. If you really think that a big company would go down l... moreOh... Is the little baby scared of android! HAHA Sorry! But Symbian BARELY even made it to the surveys right now. And man! Did Android score HUGE this year. And symbian? LOL!! Oh wait, they're DYING!
Anonymous, 27 Feb 2010Uhm... If you call dropping 5.5% OS market share "remaining number one", then you ha... moreHa. Nice try. But it wont get me sorry. If you really think that a big company would go down like that. Then guess again. Just fyi, Nokia is doing Symbian^3...and the Symbian^4 is just an evolution on its own (by other source users) and has nothing to do with Nokia.
Anonymous, 27 Feb 2010It doesnt matter actually who copies who....because at the end of day...ppl will just look who... moreUhm... If you call dropping 5.5% OS market share "remaining number one", then you have some serious issues. I mean, 5.5% is HUGE! And that new Symbian^4 concept of them is lame and such a trying hard wannabe! Sorry, but Android is already eating Symbian and nokia's Maemo isn't doing well either. So sorry, but nokia will be dying soon..
SE 2010, 22 Feb 2010nokia really views xperia x10 as threat. xperia x10 was initially named x3, then there comes n... moreWell thats funny. Cuz based on the specs of the phones....Nokia certainly is more technologically advanced comparing to SE....i dont see why it can be counted as a threat. Lols SE is 10,000 miles away from Nokia....behind and not ahead. Should i remind you guys that Nokias the first company that put out a phone with WiFi in it....in the N-Series....the Nokia N80...yeah... i think it should remind you alot of things.....if you think that nokia has any opponent in the mobile markets...then it should be themselves...no others is worth to be. Thanks.

Sorry son..you can complain all you want. Nokia will remain #1.
Anonymous, 23 Feb 2010To Mobilemaster Well you are going out of it, it was an innovation of motorola, who brough... moreNo actually nokia is the first one using is...from the start of N-Serie with Nokia n80...im sorry son but you gotta learn something called facts...nokias the first mobile manufacturer...and there's a reason for that. Also theres a reason why motorola failed comparing to nokia....simply because of their phone that is so fragile like the RAZR and that their phone produces lots of radiation comparatively to other brands.
Anonymous, 27 Feb 2010MP count doesn't always mean larger photos, it also means more details. Plus, Sony makes both ... moreSE is no longer known for the best imaging experience. Sure years ago, SE had that Title.
Other brands have caught up and make as good or better pics now.
Although SE still has great images.
Phoenix, 27 Feb 2010if you want us to believe you, so stop posting this stuff:
... moreWell said, Phoenix.
I believe you are a SE fan. But I respect your opinions as you are honest and don't preach your favouite brand to others.
Cheers mate. Keep up the great comments.
